Well, the plan is to mostly follow the manga's storyline, with a variety of changes here and there. The first series (Season 0) follows the first 59 chapters of the Manga. The second series (Duel Monsters) focuses on everything from Duelist Kingdom and beyond, with some stuff from before adapted and changed around as well.
This (hopefully) will adapt the first 59 chapters of the Manga, the Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, and Virtual World arcs of Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh R (a spinoff manga that takes place after Battle City), the Orichalcos and KC Grand Prix anime-only arcs of Duel Monsters, the Reshef of Destruction storyline from the eponymously-titled Yu-Gi-Oh game, and finally the Millennium World arc, in that order. I will also throw in adaptations of MLP story arcs/episodes in as well.
As you can see, I have my work cut out for me.

It's overly short, seems hardly any effort was put into the chapter, seems lazy lazy writing, the scenes betweent he Killer and Rarity and Fluttershy was....Pathic.
Wasn't any supense, or excitement, and ...POUNDS face into wall over and over.....I thinking of giving up reading any more updates, all that waiting and....this is what you came up, ....Breaks my heart.

So, uh, I got some plans for the rest of the story. Now, spoilers are technically ahead, but since this is a story based off of Yugioh, if you've watched it before, they won't matter.
I'll finish the 2-parter with Mythic Diamond soon. After that, we'll jump into a 2-part story about Rainbow Dash, and then a 3-parter about Rarity and the Alicorn Ring.
After that, all future chapters will be referred to as "Duelist: Part #," to coincide with the English adaptation of the manga. I plan on covering Duelist Kingdom, Dungeon Dice Monsters, Battle City and Yugioh R (a spinoff manga series) under Duelist.
Reshef of Destruction (a REALLY good Yugioh video game), the Doma arc, and the KC Grand Prix will be covered under the title New Challengers.
The Shadow Board RPG and the Ceremonial Battle will be covered under Millennium World.
And yes, Mythic Diamond is related to Sunset Shimmer. And yes, Sunset Shimmer will be in Marik's place.
