With Twilight away in Canterlot, Spike is left to his own devices. But Ponyville isn't the busiest of towns and before long, boredom begins to creep.

So to cheer himself up he decides to go spend time with his friends. Five stalwart companions whom he has known through thick and thin.

But Spike soon begins to realise that really, those are Twilight's friends. Not his.

In fact he starts to wonder whether, since he moved to Ponyville, he's actually made any friends at all...

Finally with a cutie mark and out of school, Scootaloo runs her own shop where she can fix anything as a master mechanic. She lives a simple life, simple but fulfilling. Yet, something is missing... but the mare doesn't want to admit that what's missing is really important.

But someone else can help open her heart.

She finally has her Cutie Mark, her parents have returned from an extended tour of Equestria, Rarity's business is taking off and not stopping, and now that she's entered high school, She and her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders are some of the most popular fillies in school. Yet, this all leaves Sweetie with a terrible void. The admiration of her fellow classmates seems hollow to her and Apple Bloom and Scootaloo are starting to go in different directions in their lives.
For reasons she can't explain, she has never felt more alone. It may just be the hormones of being a teen-aged filly, but it might also be that she hasn't found that special somepony. When a new colt arrives from the backwater villa of Hollow Shades, she discovers a new tide of emotions she never thought she had. Is it love? Is it lust? Only time and tide will tell…
This is the first in a series of one shot stories I have planned called The CMC Chronicles. Each one-shot will feature one of the Cutie Mark Crusaders as they take the most dangerous of quests: high school! I'm marking this teen for some clopping and vulgarity. (Sweetie will swear like a sailor, let me tell ya!)

After Rarity says something that breaks his heart, Spike snaps and storms out of her boutique. Leaving Rarity confused by the last words he said before he left. Discord appears and decides takes her on a little trip through time to show her how Spike really feels about her.

This story takes place during the events of Simple Ways and after the events of Twilight's Kingdom.

A real hero doesn't brag?

Just because she likes to talk about how awesome she is means Rainbow isn't a hero?

After her friends revealed themselves to her, Rainbow Dash reacts to Applejack's words in a completely different way than what's expected, and things only go downhill from there. Tears will be shed, friendships will be broken, and knives will be twisted as everything that can go wrong WILL.

It's the End. Equestria has fallen. Her lands are black and sick. Her skies are dark and cold. All that lives is dead – or corrupted by a foe long thought gone.

Millions of lives are lost, among them heroes and princesses, with its remaining survivors forced to retreat to their last safe haven. For five years, they have struggled to survive, dealing with sieges, rebellions, starvation, and death. The Pony Race is all but doomed.

But hope may yet live.

Not all of the Elements have perished. Two survive, and these two final bastions of Ponykind will make an effort to ride into the coming darkness to end it once and for all...

...or be swallowed by it like everything else.

When Rainbow Dash wakes up to find herself sharing a bed with somepony—or rather, somedragon—she knows she's going to have an eventful day. Determined to put the whole ordeal behind her, she agrees with Spike to forget the evening had ever happened.

However, things have a way of coming back to haunt you, and for Rainbow Dash, it may not be what she asked for at all.
