Diplomacy has failed. Six years have passed Equestria's crowning of the princess of friendship, ushering in a supposed unprecedented age of peace and harmony. The concept of warfare is, to most ponies, nothing more than an unfathomable legend. They have let their guard down.

An unknown enemy has seized the opportunity to attack Equestria with terrifying new weapons of war, bent on taking the fertile land and restoring an ancient order. The valiant efforts of the Royal Guard have given Princess Twilight and her arcane scientists time to research and develop a response to their attackers, and the time has come for that response to be implemented. Utilizing weapons and tactics borrowed from another world, five squads under the command of Princess Luna will infiltrate the forests of the Equestrian Northwest to destroy a revolutionary magical matrix that Twilight refers to as the "radio" - a tool that allows enemy ponies to communicate across vast distances instantly.

Nightmare Two is comprised of three foalhood friends who, rather than be separated from each other in the draft, volunteer to become one of the five Nightmare squads. With their bodies forever altered to suit the needs of their mission, the three young mares join legions of ponies armed with powerful weapons to partake in a horrifying new breed of warfare - Equestria's first in over one thousand years.

Got some FAQ's for you guys as well!

- Alternate universe in which the events of "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" did not occur. (As much as I loved it! :D)

- Numerical age tends to vary with headcanon, but the CMC here were just getting started with their adult lives when the draft went into effect.

- The war is pony v. pony, utilizing firearms and the Equestrian equivalent of a tank. The underlying headcanon is that ponies used firearms similar to muskets and tracked armored vehicles akin to our tanks in times of old, and what the enemy currently employs is essentially the natural progression of these technologies.

- There are no real-world weapons or equipment i.e. "Panzer IV," or "M16 assault rifle." Particularly acute details such as the caliber of weapons are also absent.

- Technology is based on that of WWI with some WWII elements. Firearms are primarily bolt-action.

- The "radio" spell matrix functions as what we know to be a radio, but is not identical.

- All four of a Night Mare's legs are permanently replaced by the augments.

- Night Mares are female. Stallions proved unable to properly animate the limbs.

Cole Macgrath, the demon of Empire City, had been captured by Vampires and taken to their queen Bloody Mary. She turned him into a Vampire to use him but she left him to roam and destroy her children. Upon 'defeating' her in a crypt and burying the Vampires of New Marais with her. He gets transported to Canterlot and finds out that he is still a Vampire.

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

At the height of the EndWar, a Ghost team has orders to track down a madman who has kidnapped some of the United States' top scientists. However, when it turns out that the madman has used them to build a portal to escape from the world's ongoing onslaught, he runs through, forcing the Ghost team to follow through and take him down. It was only about three months ago that the Department of Unified Protection had been in control in most of America's Largest Cities across the country. But ever since a small town delinquent, A ex-junkie, and a gamer have defeated the head of the DUP, their control has slowly began to fall apart like a house of cards. Even though some DUP soldiers still remain and the entire organization was suppose to be disbanded, the DUP's status was only inactive for the first two months. They're in the process of rebuilding because what happened in Seattle crippled their whole operation.

But if you think that small town delinquent is me, then you're definitely wrong. For one thing, I live in San Diego, not Seattle. I had a vacation their once though, but that was when I was eight and a year before the Empire Event.

On the 996th anniversary of Nightmare Moon's banishment, Princess Celestia plucks a quartet of strange entities from the night sky. With her fifteen-year-old student, a rising Royal Guard officer named Shining Armor, a young Princess Cadence with an unrequited crush only the subject and his sister are oblivious to, and a small team of Royal Guards, she investigates. Their discovery is breathtaking to the ponies. What happens after ensnares the small US Special Operations Command task force led by Captain Scott Mitchell of the Ghosts, who through fate or misfortune found themselves on another world.

The events that occur over the next few months threaten to change Equis forever, as a series of low-profile conflicts that have long remained outside Equestrian borders begins to encroach upon it. As things are, lies, treachery and secrets are what is keeping Equis from tearing itself apart, and at the same time are the very things that may destroy it.

But if Captain Mitchell's team and the accompanying Special Forces can complete their new mission against all odds, then Equestria and the rest of Equis will never know what really transpired, or the true driving forces behind the long-hidden conflict. Because they're Ghosts, and they were never there...

Twilight questions a huge hole in history, the origin of Princess Celestia's rule over Equestria. Twilight's questions lead her to the princess herself, and reveal a past that was buried for a millennia. Celestia tells Twilight the story of Booker Dewitt. Though only a colt with a seemingly simple task to take away his debt, Booker's actions inadvertently shape the course for the entire future of modern Equestria.

Booker Dewitt is tasked to retrieve Elizabeth and bring her back to Manehattan. His journey is set in the mysterious recently lost land of Celestia, where Booker is tossed in the middle of the city's chaotic civil war. Though getting Elizabeth out of her imprisonment is easy, the duo must face the factions known as the Vox Equus, the Keepers of Harmony, and Songgriffon, Elizabeth's skywatching warden/guardian. Will Booker and Elizabeth escape or will they parish along with the decaying radiance of Equestrian ideals?

This idea has been bothering me ever since I saw footage from Bioshock:Infinite. The amazing part of the Bioshock series is the surrealism, the way the creators form a society limited to only that of the mind. Since Equestria is seen as a bright Utopia, a crossover opens up ways which we might envision the dark shadows of a newly established equine nation.

For fifteen years, Shining Armor and Cadence, leading an order of ponies called the Argentum Solarium, have held the northern borders of the last surviving half of Equestria, Luna's Kingdom of Stormane. For fifteen years... Celestia, has been missing, and the sunlight that shines down upon all of Equis, has been cold, and unkind.

With rumors of the neighboring Griffon and Changeling empires gearing for war, and the Elements of Harmony, the six greatest heroes known to Equestria, broken and torn apart by their duties and responsibilities, will Equestria survive? And will the Undead, after fifteen years of remaining in the Fallen Kingdom, or the Shadowlands, finally march against the remaining life of Equis?
