Sombra wasn't born naturally evil. He didn't enjoy enslaving the crystal ponies that he was raised around. But he did feel different. He was the son of the Crystal Empire's King and yet Sombra wasn't a crystal pony himself. His 'father' made sure that he new that, and that he was a bastard child, and would never inherit anything. He was always in the shadow of his brother who was his father's true son, but Sombra never gave in to these shadows cast over him. Not until he was forced. But that would be much later. After he met the most amazing mare in the whole of Equestria.

Two weeks has passed since the conflict started and Equestria found itself surrounded on all sides by former allies turn enemies.

A train carrying Nightwatch and Royal Guard troops back from the Northern Front is scheduled to stop in Ponyville, where the soldiers have almost a full day at their disposal to enjoy some R&R, before they are shipped out to the Eastern Front.

And they all plan to take advantage of every last minute of it.

Twilight Sparkle is dead and together, two creatures born with eternal life, two creatures brought together by sorrow and circumstance must try to overcome the simple fact that she is dead, that she has passed on and left them all alone.

But perhaps, through death and the passing of a loved one, something else can bloom from the ashes.

I absolutely detest writing out descriptions for my stories because I suck at capturing what the story is truly about in them.
Anyway, this is my first romance story, involving Spike and Celestia, so it's a peculiar couple indeed.This is also my first truly sad story so I hope I captured some feels.

After having nasty fallings-out with Rarity and Diamond Tiara, respectively, Spike and Silver Spoon each wander the town to clear their heads, and end up running into each other. Deciding to hang out together, the two develop a friendship that could become something more.

I originally wrote this story a handful of months ago. Now, going over it again as I repost it... I'm kind of ashamed, to be honest. I tried way too hard to emotionally touch the viewers, and it came out as sappy, contrived, rushed, and a bunch of other bad stuff. I apologize for unleashing this thing on you guys.

Discord is once again loose, but after using his randomness to find some interesting information on some strange phenomenon in another world that has to do with an island and a bunch of humiliating events, the crazy spirit of disharmony and chaos comes up with a new, sick, twisted, disturbing plan that involves capturing 20 of the most popular ponies (and three non-ponies) and forcing them to play a new game while the rest of Equestria watches in horror (or most likely secret amusement and possibly envy of not being picked themselves).

What does the rotten host Discord have in mind for our 20 unfortunate selections? Well, looks like you'll have to wait and find out! Maybe, just maybe, if Discord is feeling generous, the winner of his new "game" will get a grand prize. Everyone pick a character to root for and let's get it on!
