Another day at (and in some cases, away from) one of those most helpful government agencies available to humans who end up in Equestria through no fault of their own. Whatever you have, they'll take it, give you shiny bits in return, and then get your money back to your universe where it belongs! (Why nopony offers to use the field agent portals to send humans home is never discussed, for some reason.)

You remember Canterlot. You remember the taste of victory. Across a thousand years and a hundred lives, it was the greatest joy you had ever felt.

And then, in a flash of heat and unbearable light, it ended.

Now you are alone. The rest of your kind are dead or scattered, and you cannot hear their thoughts.

There is a void inside you. A gnawing, endless hunger you cannot escape. It is killing you.

You need love to survive, but there is none of that here. Not for you. You can only steal it from them, these ponies for whom we are hungry.

While this story is not as cementically dense as FW, it is still full of wordplay, literary references, portmanteau words and puns and will be a challenge for many readers. As the chaos surrounding the mirror pool died down, and the original Pinkie Pie was reunited with her friends, the Mane Six had assumed that all was well and good, and they'd gathered up all of the extra Pinkies.

Never make assumptions.

In a valiant effort to escape the fate of being cast back into the mirror pool, the remaining clones gathered their own identities and fled to the best hiding ground for multiple copies of the same pony they could think of: Manehattan. On the first train out of dodge, they set about the city and scattered to the wind.
