I was putting this off for a while, since I don't know if anyone else will care ; but I think I need to post something.
We were somewhere around Ponyville, on the edge of the Everfree, when the Poison Joke began to take hold.

I survived another con. But as much as I'm glad to be back home and in my own bed to recover; it still feels like it was over far too soon.
Was so great to see so many ponies I already knew, and meet some new ones. Even managed to buckle down and submit a (really really terrible and unfinished) story for Iron Author this year. Even got a couple tshirts signed (Nicole Oliver and Andrea Libman).
It sickens me that this needs to be said, but the pro-child-molestation crowd is at it again. I'm not going to write in depth about this particular incident, as others have already done a better job of that. I'll just link two blogs that I think tackle the issue very well.

I'm sure there are a few others here who can relate to this.
I had a thing here that was going to be a long thing but it's just not worth it anymore because it doesn't make any kind of sense anymore and I give up it's just not worht it because it never fucking works right and nothing ever ccome s out the way it's suppose to do so i guess there isn't really any point in bothering anymore it's just broken and no way to fix any of it the entire thing is just oo much of a bloody mess so i't gone and it doesn't have to be there anymore.
This one has been making the rounds for a bit over a week now. The neo-Nazi/fascist/racist/incel/misogynist/anti-LGBTQ problem in online fandoms and other communities has been known for a while, and now some news outlets are noticing how prevalent it has become in the Brony community. Weirdly ironic, considering the rather explicit and unsubtle message of the show that brought most of us here, a message of not just accepting, but celebrating diversity, and the power of friendship to make us

This is not a political post, this is a post affirming that people have to right to live their lives, free of the fear of being murdered by government thugs, simply because of the colour of their skin, simply due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or simply for being different from what mainstream straight white American culture deems acceptable.
Despite being locked down and stuck at home, I've managed to attend a pony con: PonyFest Online
A lot more fun than I expected. Not the same as going to an In-Real-Life con, but still a great way to pass a day that would otherwise be unbearably dull, and probably spent on housework.
