Octavia deals with the death of Vinyl Scratch and the emotions and pain that follow such loss. They said that time can heal all wounds but what about when you cut the soul?

Friendship is a song. Love is a song. Death is a song. Grief is a song. Together, they blend with perfect harmony, though they can hurt at times. Losing a loved one is hard, but music can lift the spirits of the saddest.

First and foremost I hope no one gets offended. I don't know how someone could but if you do I did not intend it. This is my second attempt at first person so go easy on me. If you notice any big boo boos please point them out.

This is a story that I feel many people have gone through in some way. It is 2014 and becoming much easier for gay people to just come out and be themselves. I have always wondered about those who have had to hide their feelings. Growing up my mom watched a lot of news and sometimes there would be married couples splitting because one person was actually gay. Thats were I got this idea. I wanted to try to imagine what it must be like for both people. Imagine loving someone with every fiber of your being only to find out they won't ever love you as you love them. Imagine having to lead someone on in a relationship because of the fear that has been instilled in you since a young age. Having to hide yourself from everything and everyone because you don't know if they will still accept you. Either one seems terrifying to me. I don't know if I effectively captured these emotions or feels. I suppose you all can tell me if I did. Celestia knows, I don't think I could ever truly capture those feels because I don't think I have ever been in that situation.

For all of you who have been in a situation like this. You have my respect.

I may do a second chapter if reception calls for it. I intended for this to be a one shot but I know I could do another chapter from another view.

When we lose all of what makes our world be special, how can we even bear to keep going in life? How does one even begin to start coping with such a thing? One cellist, called Octavia by those who knew her, does just this. She throws the cruel destiny that the harsh fates had bestowed upon her aside and stands proudly upon the stage of the world to play her instrument, her life, louder than any other.

Being a complete introvert, Octavia is very surprised when a strange looking girl in her music class calls her a peculiar nickname. Her name is Vinyl Scratch, and for some reason, she acts like Octavia is her best friend! Who in the world is this girl???

This story is a sequel to Fashion Crush

(Humanized) Vincenza Scratch, AkA Vinyl for her friends, AKA DJ-PON3 on stage, 22 years old. The DJ found herself in one of the low periods of her young career, probably the lowest and longest she ever experienced so far; writer's block, out of ideas for a new genre of music as her 'classic' electronica seems to go out of the crowd fashion, less and less attendance to her gigs, etc.

Starting to run low on money, She gets in touch with one of her mother's friend in the capital, Vito Philharmonica; Member of the board of one of the most prestigious private high school. Vito offers her a place to stay and a job to help her to get back on track : A music teacher job for a Highschool senior class, which includes Vito's own daughter, Octavia.

How's Vinyl going to teach to a bunch of teenagers when she's barely older than them? ( and probably not much more mature as well). And when other teachers and some of her students look down at her for being a 'simple' DJ? One answer, Becoming the GTVS: THE GREAT TEACHER VINYL SCRATCH! (Yes inspired by GTO, one of the coolest manga ever)
