Sequel to Victorian Equestria: The Corps of Discovery

AN: Hi there! Welcome to the third installment of Victorian Equestria! I really hope you guys like this next foray into the world of the Pony Demand Mod for Victoria 2, and please check out the game and the mod if you haven't already.

It is the human year of 1808. While war rages in Europe, Equestria is blissfully unaware of human contact with the Griffons up north. This changes when Princess Celestia learns of humanity and their advances in terms of technology and government. This prompts her to take a tour of Europe (and Washington DC) to learn of their governments, technology, and of European war.

Coming from a broke and broken family, I never kept high hopes for anything. When my mother died and I moved out of the house, finally making a life of my own, I decided to treat myself. I had a few grand saved up for a rainy day, and I was going to use them to go to E3, video games were one of the few things that kept me sane before and now. That and MLP, but with the show on hiatus, again I figured it would be fun. I got a pretty good Reaper costume. I rarely played him in Overwatch, but I liked his backstory and character. Riding to E3 in a train was kinda fun dressed as him, mainly since I was not the only one dressed up. When I got to E3 I got the usual, games, little trinket things, then I came across what was a sad looking stall, but there was a pair of really good looking guns Reaper carried, and my costume didn't come with those, so naturally I bought them. When I tried them out by myself in the bathroom, my luck, the lights went out...and I was falling...Okay someone spiked my cherry root beer!

Preface
This is hands down the most dedicated piece of writing I've worked on to date. Before this lies many an aborted fanfic including some over on fanfiction.net. All of whom were nowhere near as taken seriously by me as this one was. Months were put into this just to reach the release point for the story itself. Struggling with my own procrastination and real life priorities made every paragraph I wrote important to me and I'm so happy to finally be releasing this. It may be a silly crossover between Digimon and My Little Pony, but I love the MLP fandom/show and I'm a huge sucker for successful crossover tales. So putting this much time and effort into a tale like this was thrilling as much as it was terrifying. I had to motivate myself so much at times and I hated every time my obsession over rewriting and editing older chapters got in the way of moving forward. But I think it was worth it in the end. I hope everyone who clicks on my tale and reads this enjoys the adventure you're about to go on as much as I did writing it.

We all know the story of how Twilight learned of the fact that Nightmare Moon was returning and how she both found and became one of the Bearers of the Elements Of Harmony, but what if there was another legend she read before that. What if, the legend of 'The Phoenix Princess' was also real. And what if the legend was centered around Twilight herself.

Well Read on and find out how 'The Phoenix Princess' and 'The Legend Of Nightmare Moon' are linked and why it seems that they are converging on Twilight Sparkle.

On a trip to Baltimare, Twilight and friends discovered a small metal orb that was beeping. Unable to identify it, Twilight takes it back with her to the castle and studies it. On the third day, however, the orb makes its purpose known.

Thankfully for her, it doesn't do so to her directly.

Unthankfully for Chris, it does.

Added the Sex tag because of Chapter 5 and the problems that arise due to what happens in that chapter. Don't worry, there's nobody doin' the snoo-snoo.

But only the oldest of people know that. Jonathan Taylor is one such man, in the twilight of his years, quietly lamenting the follies of the newer generations. He would show them, ah, he would show them all, if he could go back in time and live with what he now knows.

Then again, browbeating a voice that pretends to be able to grant wishes might not have been particularly smart of him either. She did hold a grudge. A little one. It probably explains the whole horse thing.

And, as the rest of the saying goes, wisdom is wasted on the old.

A travelling samurai arrives in Ponyville, much to the chagrin of it's residents when his mannerisms constantly put everypony on edge. It doesn't appear the earth-pony even speaks the same language, yet he's determined to sell his wares. Ponies can't seem to get a handle on him, but some unlikely sources help them get to know this new friend. The power of friendship and the elements of harmony are just what's in store for our hero. You don't have to pay admission until you finish watching the show.
