Rainbow Dash, now a wonderbolt, is practicing her flying one night. Her close friend/teammate Soarin sees her alone and decides to accompany her. The two pegasi talk about their interests, they both realize that they have a lot in common. They even went through similar situations during their previous lifetimes.

But, something is bothering Soarin. For the longest time, he has a huge crush on Rainbow Dash, ever since she won the Best Young Fliers Competition two years ago. He's afraid to tell the mare how he feels about her. But Soarin tells himself to stallion up and tell her how he feels. Still, he's too nervous. He realized that confessing his feelings to the mare he really liked was going to be hard for him. But, he tries.
Will he finally tell her about his feelings? Will Rainbow return his affections?

Author Note: To make your understanding clear about my writing, I do not always feature romance in the stories I write. Since it's difficult to write about Romance, I'll try my best to make the actions of the characters as sappy as possible (if needed).

On her day off, Rainbow Dash is awoken by an anonymous caller under the pseudonym 'Cupid'. After asking for the purpose of his call, Cupid refuses to provide Rainbow a proper answer. Instead he presents a game specifically designed for her.

When Rainbow shows no interest in playing, Cupid doesn't let up.

Who is he? And why is he so determined to disrupt the pegasus's precious day off?

Rainbow knows that she is in love with Quibble Pants, but she doesn't know that she has to face the consequences of being saddled into an arranged marriage.

Soarin, on the other hoof, simply hasn't been ready for that kind of commitment. He never went out with mares, never kissed one-heck, he couldn't even talk to them!

Once they realize the compromise they have foisted on them, they decide to just deal with the challenges.

Rainbow Dash has always been the toughest pegasus in all of Ponyville. But when she moved to Cloudsdale to become a Wonderbolt, things changed. Rainbow Dash always loved flying and doing her tricks and flips and leisurely practicing in hopes that she would one day be able to join the Wonderbolts.

When that day finally came, Rainbow Dash wasn’t prepared for the hours of nonstop practice. She hadn’t conditioned her body to work that hard for that long. She was weak and slow compared to the other Wonderbolts. What will come of that?

During her struggles training with the Wonderbolts, she finds somepony who helps her endure the long days and tough practices

At the time, it seemed like a great idea; seemed like the perfect way to teach Rainbow Dash a lesson. With a racing heart and rising guilt, surely she would up and learn her lesson. It's a totally understandable situation, isn't it?

But when things go south, maybe it'd be better to lie and say nothing at all. Still, what happens when Rainbow finds out?

Falling in love is a wonderful thing that everybody should feel in some point of their lives. Sometimes in early years, sometimes in old years. But everything in excess can be harmful, even love, especially if this lasts too long.

After a huge airshow in Cloudsdale Soarin meets a young fan of his and decided to get to know her better. This leads him to discover that her family is much like his... cold... mean... and heartless. So soarin decides to do some thing about it which leads to new priorities in his life.

This is mainly a Scootadoption fic but it has some Soarindash moments in it
