Applejack and Rainbow Dash knew this would be hard, but a long distance relationship was in their future from the start. A Wonderbolt and an apple farmer don't have a lot of time in the same place, so they do their best with letters and the occasional weekends. But when Applejack finds out that Rainbow Dash is on the cover of Flyers Illustrated: Wet Feathers Edition, it plays on a fear she never mentioned to Dash: Everypony knows that famous ponies are different from normal folks. . .

Right?

Rainbow often wondered what it’d be like to be a pegasus. Too bad she wasn’t born one. A mare can dream, though. Sometimes that’s all she can do.

If Soarin knows any better is that allowing Rainbow Dash to enter in his room in the middle of a stormy night must've been somewhat a crazy idea. Then again he knows that she came for something else.... something deep.

After Twilight promised to cast a cloud walking spell on you once a week when she heard that you and Dash had a good friendship together, you've been living with her for a couple of weeks now and have developed romantic feelings towards her. You bravely admitted it to her, and she's a bit weirded out by it and has started mocking you a bit for it. Luckily, she doesn't hate you for it.

You ask Rainbow to cuddle, but she declines. You do a few other things together that aren't really what you normally do, which causes Rainbow to start getting used to being more physically close to you. She eventually stops seeing why she wouldn't want to give you what would make you happy.

You've been best friends with Rainbow Dash since somehow winding up in Equestria. She's gotten your mind off of the terrible predicament that you've found yourself in and has been the most fun, supportive and understanding pony you've met.

Only, lately she's been acting quite strange around you. There is obviously something bothering her, but every time you mention it, she changes the subject and averts the question.

They had been together for so long, the prospect of losing her had never really crossed his mind. He couldn't imagine a world without her, it was simply... unfathomable.

A day after the wedding at Violet Hill, Soarin and Rainbow take a trip down memory lane on their honeymoon, leading to more stories about their past. After returning, it is back to reality, which may prove to be difficult because the couple are no longer Wonderbolts.

This story is the sequel to Violet Hill and was inspired by the song Til Kingdom Come by Coldplay. Rated teen for some hinted adult themes and jokes.

Rainbow Dash graduates from the Wonderbolt Academy. After many weeks of training, she falls in love with Soarin, her instructor. However, when war breaks out and the Wonderbolts have to join the Equestrian Royal Army, Rainbow Dash and Soarin's love for each other and their loyalty for their kingdom are tested.

This story was inspired by the song Violet Hill by Coldplay, as well as the rest of the Viva La Vida album. It takes place after the Wonderbolt Academy episode, not including Alicorn Twilight Sparkle or anything after season 3. Rated teen for a few suggestive jokes and moments of intimacy, but nothing mature.

Sometimes, you just need a little quiet. Soarin needed to think. He had already decided what he was going to do, heck, he had known it since the day he met her. It was so peaceful in the sky. No disturbances. Just endless, cool silence. He knew what he had to do.

Because he loved her.

Because he was never going to let her go.

Because if the sky was burning and the light was fading and the world was falling down, she would be the only thing on his mind.

And god be damned if he was about to let her go.
