Rainbow Dash doesn't get hurt often, but this time it's pretty bad and the doctors are making sure that she doesn't make it any worse. Thus, she's been given the dreaded cone of shame. The doctors have also asked you to help her get around and carry on with her daily life. You're a good friend to her (and just a friend), so that should be easy, right?

After the turbulent events of the Royal Garden opening, Rainbow Dash and Soarin's friendship went on surprisingly well. With everything that happened, they could learn more and realize how much they are important to each other. Soarin even offered Rainbow Dash an opportunity to have weekly practices with him at the Wonderbolt Academy, which she gladly accepted.

With only a few days until the start of their training, they have an unexpected (and quite painful to Soarin) reencounter, that ends up taking both of them to the Ponyville hospital, where they learn a little more about each other.

As their weekly practices begin, their connection only deepens, making them question their feelings and contemplate the thought that, just maybe, their friends were right all along.

One blush and now what?

Rainbow Dash has been part of the Wonderbolts for a while now and suddenly in the showers one day develops a crush, the pony she crushes on has the same feelings for her as well. Spitfire and Fleetfoot notice the two looking eye to eye for to long and try to help both of them when going through this experience. Will it be a success or will it just be a big problem? (Also it does a a bit of Rarity in there which is main part).

After a particularly poor flight rehearsal, Captain Spitfire chews out Rainbow Dash for her sloppy form. While distraught, Rainbow Dash is able to keep it together until said rehearsal is over.

Soarin wants to console her, but Rainbow Dash isn’t the type of mare that needs consoling. Maybe she just wants some company?

Soarin and Rainbow Dash have been a known thing for quite some time now. Every interview, every meet-and-greet, every show, and every day, they are faced with the same love and hate from fans all over Equestria. Only the ones who bother to really observe see that the couple is just as innocent, sensitive, loyal, and sweet as they are raunchy, sexy, bold, and confident. Nothing can be a better representation of that than what went on at HQ.

He hates it more than words can express, but Soarin has always had a tendency to be overprotective of his mare, sometimes even jealous. And seeing that Dash happens to be one of the most attractive mares on the face of the planet, he has a good reason to be; stallions always seem to know the right buttons to press to make him feel jealous and threatened. Sometimes it doesn't even matter who the stallion is - if they overstep Rainbow's boundaries, it'll be enough to set him off. So when his cool finally slips around a fellow Wonderbolt, he doesn't expect his day to end very well.

What he doesn't realize is that Rainbow Dash is very aware of how he's like when he sees her with someone else. And she wouldn't change that for the world. She loves him inside-out and will be damned if doesn't know that.

For PimpArtst101's story contest for the given cover piece, and also inspired by Camila Cabello's song "Inside Out" off of her debut self-titled album. First time I've ever done something like this, but Imma tell you, this was SO much fun to do, and I hope you enjoy!
