Every schoolfilly has heard of the Federation - the tall, mysterious, magicless beings from another world, who visit only rarely and briefly; waiting, they say, for 'stable planetary political unity'.

This is the story of when they first visited Equestria; of early contact between the Princesses and the Federation. It is also the tale of how Princess Luna, with some help from the House of Sparkle, managed the first fully Equestrian warp jump; and of how Spike became the first dragon in space.

Surges. Just about every newborn foal goes through them: episodes where their magic is randomly finding its way into the world, effects appearing with no understanding or control. Sires and dams whose foal matches their own race can usually counter enough to keep the nursery in one piece. But if you're, just for example, the proud (and rather desperate) unicorn first-time parents of a pegasus foal and you really need a night out of the house -- preferably one where the house is still intact when you get back -- you call on the Surge Protectors! for assistance.

First you're born, and then you're recorded in triplicate. The end of labor is the start of a very long paper trail, because nopony can exist without being documented. Sending copies of a new foal's documents to the Herdbook Registry is perfectly normal. And of course, in order to make sure there's nothing strange going on, that paperwork gets reviewed. Which is done by bureaucrats who establish absolute control inside their office while having no idea of what's happening in the actual world. So as far as they're concerned, the forms associated with somepony named 'Flurry Heart'...

[Displaced] into a darker My Little Pony world than the one he knew. Hans now lives in the mind of Marvel's Victor von Doom, Dr. Doom himself. Not just looking like Doom the mind of the character was also active.

Hans now has to figure out how to work with one of Marvel's prime villains in a harsh 1800s technology world with colorful anthro ponies and anthro griffons. One thing is clear DOOM has arrived and on his left hand was the Infinity Gauntlet.

Victor Von Doom knew something was wrong. The sun was radiation the wrong spectrum of energy to be Earth 616 sun. The Infinity Gauntlet power seems to function oddly. It wouldn't get rid of the annoying voice in his head. The creatures he seeing are humanoid mostly in appearance. All the species he sees break known physics with some kind of X-gene or Magical means. A world of superpowers, a world where superpowers mean nothing, the most powerful rule this world. Worst was the gaps in his mind, the knowledge he should have wasn't there. When was the last time he ate? When was the last time he took a nice shower? Things that should be in his memories but wasn't. It doesn't matter he was Victor Von Doom of Earth 616 and he will conquer this land and with its resources, find the way home.

Rainbow Dash's mom receives a letter about her daughter's heroism in combat. Now she sits, shaking and trying her best to keep it together as she reads the letter at the kitchen table with tears coursing down. Her daughter was a hero. Was. She sat in the corner of Sugarcube Corners every day wearing an old ragged stetson. She never took it off, not for anything. For ten years the frayed and dusty hat stayed upon her head. One day as she sat staring out the window of Sugarcube Corners, the waitress asked her why she wore such an old relic. With a bittersweet smile, Applebloom told her a tale of ten years ago.

Michael Wilson lived for seven years as a normal, happy boy, until he had to go to the hospital for an operation to save his life. After falling asleep in the operating room, he wakes up in the ruins of a castle. But his location is not the only thing that has changed. He is now a strange horse-like creature with a mane and tail that seem to be made of stars. Just what kind of dream is that sleeping gas giving him?

This story is a sequel to A Phoenix Beyond the Veil - The Philospher's Stone

Well over a year after a calibration fault in the mirror portal sent Sunset Shimmer to a world she had not planned for, she continues learning the magic of this new world. Between diplomatic overtures and magical endeavors, new complications arise.

Once more, Hogwarts opens its doors for young witches and wizards, unaware of an ancient threat slumbering beneath the school. Will it be awakened?

NOTE: As of right now, I find myself burned out on writing this story. The continuity introduces too many little mistakes and things add up. I may eventually rewrite the entire series and hopefully do a better job of it, but for now this is all there is.

So there I am, suddenly existing, not remembering a thing about who I was before. Fortunately I didn't loose all of my memories, just the ones that were personal. Context of my remaining memories suggests I was this thing called a human, but now I'm just an imperial pegasus in a world sorta similar to a TV show I have memories of. I wonder if these memories will actually be of any use.

Hey, I'll be updating this later, after we have reached the "well established" check point, and I know how to word it better. The tags will also change basses on them being needed in the story.

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.

She doesn't anymore.
