It's practice as usual for the Wonderbolts, until their newest rookie crashes. Inspiration strikes Spitfire to get him a book from the Ponyville library to help him. But there she meets the librarian Twilight Sparkle, and a friendship soon develops. But what could be developing underneath the surface?

Princess Celestia cleans out her safe of scrolls to make room for more of Twilight's and her friend's observations. During the clean-up, her spell goes awry and accidentally sends them all back to the original sender.

Twilight rushes home one evening due to a horribly embarrassing event that has just transpired in her life. When Spike finally gets her to talk about it, she tells him of her newly found crush, and how she may have messed up any chance she had at a relationship. With the advice from her number one assistant and friend Applejack, can Twilight fix what happened and get a second chance with her crush?

First fanfic I've written, and a one shot at that. A sequel is in the works if this goes over well!

Applejack's mother was a Manehattan pony who fell in love with Sweet Apple Acres and the farmer who lived there. The gold necklace he gave her wasn't expensive or flashy, but she loved it anyway. Now that Applejack is ready to propose to Twilight with the same necklace, she hopes it really is fit for a princess.
