Once again, I modified a couple of words in the last line of The Clarity of Darkness. The difficulty I've had has been riding the fine line between a tragic misinterpretation that I didn't think anypony would make, and total saccharine glurge. I think the change I've made is (finally) an effective compromise.

Apparently, many ponies have misinterpreted The Clarity of Darkness, perhaps leading to some of the downthumbs. The second chapter is not supposed to imply that our heroes did not survive. It was merely intended to be poetic.
