Pinkie Pie passes on, leaving behind her secret journal. Twilight and her friends decide to read it to calm their mourning. They find it full of memories of her life, and memories with her friends, and also secrets never meant to be seen.

The past is set in stone. Events unchangeable, but they lay the foundation of the future. All we really have is our choices, their consequents, and those that stand by us. Pinkie will rediscover her forgotten past and maybe regain something truly lost.

If you cry, you're dead. If you frown, you're dead. If you in some way do something to make others unhappy, you're dead. And that is why everypony's perfectly happy. They can't afford not to be.

Queen Pinkamena Diane Pie. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think? If only her former friends thought the same way! Why can't they see she is just doing this for everyponys' good. So they can all be...happy.

It's the Feast of Foals, a celebration of misrule from Equestria's long ago past. Pranks are the norm, and who better to pull pranks than Pinkie Pie and her best friend Rainbow Dash? Only somethings not quite right this year. The pranks are getting a little mean...and in some cases, even a little deadly. When Rainbow Dash makes a confession to Twilight Sparkle, will the pair be able to put a stop to the reign of chaos in Ponyville?

In this story, Pinkie shares a retelling of her life as an immortal. The idea came to me over the past few days and so I decided to write it down. This is the first story in what is now my "Immortal Suffering" series.

Here's the final chapter in Pinkie Pie's story. Takes place entirely within S02E01, but I've taken the liberty of shifting the focus of the episode onto Pinkie Pie without changing any events from the show. What if Discord took advantage of the fact that Pinkie Pie loves his tricks?

As everypony knows, Pinkie Pie can do impossible things. She can hover in midair without wings, play ten instruments at once, and even go days without breathing! Clearly some kind of magic is at work, but what could it be?

Pinkie decides it's finally time to tell her friends the whole, unvarnished truth.

This is Equestria. But something went differently this time. The Everfree is even more out of control, and has become a breeding ground and nesting place for thousands of dangerous creatures. With so many new threats constantly changing, evolving in the darkness, no one knows what the next monster could be capable of. In such a world, the Unknown means Danger.

Meet Pinkie Pie. She's an earth pony who likes parties and making everyone smile. She's very, very good at it.

That's a bad thing.

You see, some of the things she does are... strange. Unnatural. Sure, parties may be her special talent, but that doesn't explain where she got a cannon that can decorate a room. And it doesn't stop at parties. There's something unnatural about that mare. No one can explain it.

Pinkie Pie is an Unknown.

Unknowns are dangerous.

Princess Celestia has taken the poor pony under her wing, and raised her away from unfriendly eyes, allowing her to live what approaches a normal life. Soon, Pinkie will be reintroduced to the world at large, starting with a little town called Ponyville, on the day of the one-thousandth Summer Sun Celebration.
