Journal Entry 3: 
Today was just as bright and sunny as yesterday!! I saw a bunny going across the farm. It was so cute! Whoops got a little carried away there...Sorry! Anyway my mama said that daddies birthday is coming sooni am so happy for my daddy! Mama wants me to throw him the best party ever! I don't want to disappoint my papa so I got to get to work. Be back in a jiffy!! 


Welp its done!! oh I cant wait till the party, I hope daddy likes it! I worked so hard on it!! Mommy liked what I did to the barn. Oh!! I got to go It's time to start the party!! Be back again!! sorry!!


YAY HE LIKED IT HE REALLY LIKED IT!!! When we surprised him he scooped me up in a hug and smiled. For the first time he smiled at me. he then said 'I love you Pinkie...'  My heart skipped a beat when he said it to me. 'I love you too daddy' I said back. And he smiled again!! I was happy, everypony was happy that day. Lets keep this up!! For now goodnight journal!! Goodnight everypony!! JOURNAL ENTRY END      
Rarity sat the journal down on the table and smiled. 
"We-well that was a happy one, I am quite glad..." Rarity said with a smile. Dashie nodded and smiled. 
"Y-yeah..." She said smiling as a tear fell from her eye. Fluttershy grabbed the journal and smiled. 
"I-i'll read the next one...Um if that's okay..." She said with a smile. Everypony nodded as Fluttershy continued to read the journal: 

 Journal Entry 4: 
Pa isn't waking up... It's been a really long time since he has woken up. He's really cold... too cold. Mama is crying for some reason, Inkie and Blinkie are bawling as if pa's... Dead. NO!  He isn't dead!! he can't be dead!! Why would he be gone? Why would he leave us... It's not fair... IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!! I want my daddy I want him back!! I want my daddy...  

Just got back from the funeral... Now my world is as dark as the last time, before the rainbow graced the sky... I-I- I can't write anymore for now... Sorry journal... Journal Entry End  
A tear fell from Shy's eye and landed on the page she was on. Shy started to cry. 
"O-Oh my... Th-that was not a happy entry aty all..." Shy said as Dashie held her friend close. Applejack shook her head. 
"Poor Pinks... Ah didn't know her pa died... Ah feel for her..." AJ said with a sigh. Twilight sighed as well and looked at the time, !0:00pm. Twilight yawned a bit and sighed. 
"Lets all get some shut eye for now... We will continue tomorrow..." She said. Everypony nodded and found a place to sleep. No one slept well at all. Most of the night was spent drying eyes and wishing for a miracle that they could read on.
