However, one week before the presentation an unauthorized broadcast powerful enough to reach every corner of Equestria appears. Its host? Discord.

It's been a while since Twilight Sparkle has heard from the changelings. Queen Chrysalis hasn't stirred any pots or burned any stews that Twilight hasn't heard of. Yet, when she is asked to visit the Changeling Hive for trade negotiations, she had to settle the score.

Twilight wished the score wasn't as shocking as it sounded, as Queen Chrysalis had more on her mind than just trade negotiations.

Poor little Spike. Time and time again he's heard vicious arguments between Twilight and Trixie, but now he finally sees it, first claw, and can't take it anymore- he pours his heart out to Applejack.

Now has a sequel, One Year Later

After a vigorous day of organising and sending reports to Celestia, Twilight notices Spike is feeling a little ill. He slowly grows more and more cold, before finally falling into a coma that Twilight fears is her own fault.

Going to the Princesses for help, Twilight eventually is brought before an Elder Dragon and comes to the realisation that she may have failed as a caretaker, a friend and as an older sister.

At the Royal Wedding, Chrysalis and the Changelings were revealed to all of Equestria.

But another mask was torn away that day. A mask born for a thousand years. A mask created on one promise. A mask, that has become synonymous, fused, to its bearer.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.
