Twilight ducked behind a display for what felt like the thousandth time, heart hammering in her ears. She gulped Okay, just one more corner to go. Just one.
Three, two… A squeak on the floor as her hoof slipped made her gasp. No! Go away! Horseapples! The Unicorn ceased to breathe as she stared frozen, wide-eyed at the guard as his gaze slid across the room and fixed on the spot where she hid.
He called out and moved towards her with his spear held ready.
She panicked and teleported to the feather, grabbed it with her magic and set all the alarms off. With her heartbeat pounding in her ears, she lit up her horn and went back to her library for what was sure to be her last time.

When the Royal Sisters go missing leaving nothing more than a bloodied blue feather, Equestria's throne goes to the next in line, Prince Blueblood.
With Equestria spiraling down into dark times and war with the griffons looming on the horizon it seems that there are enemies everywhere for Blueblood.
Twilight, once Princess Celestia's favoured student, now outlaw to Equestria is determined to find the princesses, no matter the consequences. But those consequences might not be the ones she was expecting.

Of all the royal figures who lead Equestria, much is known of most of them. Celestia and Luna came from parts unknown and were offered the crown by the founders of the nation. Cadance was an orphan of distant noble descent who was raised by a humble village. Twilight was a lonely bookworm who eventually became one of the greatest heroes in history.

The prince, however, has very little in the way of backstory. How did he become a prince, since the title does not award itself? What is the meaning of his cutie mark? If he grew up with Celestia, as is sometimes speculated, then how did he get on with Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, or with Spike? While few are interested in providing answers for such an infuriating public figure, they nonetheless exist. This is one man's attempt to piece them together.

After a crushing second rejection from Rarity, Blueblood finds himself rather emotionally shaken. However, when he finds himself under the guidance of an unassuming farmer, the noblecolt's life will take a turn the likes of which he would never have expected.

Blueblood has successfully narrowed it down to three young mares from wealthy families of high status, including Lyra of the Heartstrings family.

Bon-Bon, Lyra's best friend, decides that it is her duty to protect Lyra from the wonderful prince who Bon-Bon perceives to be an asshole.

A thousand years is a long time to be cooped up in a city full of crystals.

Two years after the return of the Crystal Empire to the realm of Equestria, Flash Sentry was itching to board the next train to anywhere the first chance that he got. That chance came in the form of a reassignment when Equestria and the Empire merged their royal guard corps. He was shipped off to Canterlot to become one of Prince Blueblood's personal guard, a position of great honor and prestige. Flash was determined to perform his duties to the best of his abilities.

Of course, his best may not be enough seeing as how almost every mare on the planet wants to murder the good prince.

Caught in the middle of a struggle between Equestria and a neighboring country, Blueblood finds himself alone in unfriendly territory. Through trials and hardships he finds himself under the wing of a veteran soldier, and the arrogant, spoiled stallion begins a slow metamorphosis into the prince his country needs.

"No, w-wait! I've been lying the whole time! I'm not actually royalty, I swear! Don't believe anything that scroll says!

Handsome, suave, and just bursting with charisma, Prince Blueblood is the stallion every mare in Equestria pines for. At least until they spend five minutes with him and realize he's a pompous blowhard. When a royal summit at the Crystal Empire goes sour, the only nephew of Princess Celestia is ordered to mingle with the "lowly commoners" with the intent of reconnecting with society. Though begrudgingly accepting his punishment just to humor his auntie, things quickly go from bad to worse when a certain pink pony from the boonies crashes into him bearing the worst possible news...in the worst possible place.

With the death of his mother hanging over his shoulders, Prince Blueblood is conflicted. Before, he couldn't even imagine not being absolutely perfect. After all, he's royalty! And blood royalty, at that! Now, however, he begins to wonder, "Was I wrong?"

Fed up with his playcolt lifestyle, Prince Blueblood's parents decide to do something about it. Getting an honest job was out of the question, so instead he must woo and marry a suitable mare.

Blueblood is not pleased with this arrangement, but when he hears that the Elements of Harmony are attending the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala, he makes a plan to meet up with each one in the hope of finding a prospective life partner. A simple task, surely. What pony could resist him?
