Twilight is summoned to Canterlot Castle at the behest of a letter from Princess Celestia. Is it a test? A warning? Or something that could potentially alter the course of the next thousand years for the young Princess?

Father used to always tell me that one of the keys to being a good ruler and an organized pony was to keep a journal. So, like a good little filly, I did exactly as he asked. Books upon books I filled up with random musings and other small tidbits of information that I didn't realize nopony would really care about.

At least until He came into my life. Suddenly, the journal I had never used too seriously took on a whole new meaning. It became my best friend, my confidante. Now, it is a way to remember the good times after so many bad.

Celestia was always a "family mare". She always held up families as one of the greatest social institutions in the country. She is famously good with children. All of Equestria looks to her almost like some great parental figure. But for some reason she has always been childless herself.

Perhaps it's time to change that. She is, after all, married to the most wonderful mare she had ever known.

One hundred years. Twilight Sparkle is having a tough time stomaching that reality. She has lived a full hundred years in Equestria, and being an immortal princess promises only more centuries to follow. She's not sure if she's ready for the rest of her life.

But Twilight's lifelong friend and mentor has a special gift for her, something that will change her perspective about the future.

There has always been a little voice in Twilight Sparkle's head, whispering dark musings to her. And until her brother's wedding, she has managed to push those bitter thoughts away and focus on the good. She forgives and forgets and holds onto hope.

But when her friends turn their backs on her and her brother cuts her from his life, Twilight finds herself alone, with only the little voice to comfort her.

And it is through anger and hate that has been repressed for so long that Twilight finds the power to rise up. Harmony and Friendship have only brought her pain and suffering. It is time for her to embrace her dark side. No longer will she worry about what others think. Twilight is going to live her life how SHE chooses: without friends, without family, without love and without harmony. She is going to cut loose, have fun, and screw what others think.

For her friends and family, it will soon become apparent that if they don't find a way to mend the damage they've done to the lavender mare...Twilight Sparkle might be lost to them forever.

Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight Sparkle are very excited. After more than a few misses, Twilight is now close to the end of her first pregnancy. The happy couple couldn’t feel more blessed than they are now.

When Twilight goes for a check up, she receives news that she wasn't quite ready for and begins to question if she is prepared to raise their foal. What if she does something wrong? What will she do?

She fears her foal will never want to call her mom.

Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle have hit it off great. They've gone out to countless places, hung out with each other's friends, and never seem to have a problem. They've hit it off so well in fact, that Twilight thinks he might be her 'special somepony', and feels like it's time he was properly introduced to her family. Will all of his training as a soldier help him survive for a few hours with her dad and brother?

Being a princess isn't all it's cracked up to be. Princess Twilight Sparkle finds this out for herself on the first day when her new title brings along things she would rather not deal with like politics, bureaucracy, stress, and most importantly, not being able to spend time with her friends.

One night, an amazing display lit up the sky over Ponyville. A comet, brighter than any in living memory, was making its way through the sea of stars. The residents of the town gathered en masse to witness the spectacle. As was the tradition for such an occasion, many ponies made a wish on the celestial body, hoping that maybe, just maybe, some of them might come true...

Centuries have passed since Twilight Sparkle became a princess of Equestria. Yet her rule came at a great cost, and long after her friends have gone she lives on. That lonely fact has been slowly killing her, yet she has always stuck by the ideals she and her friends once stood for. One meeting could challenge that however, and make her wonder whether or not she can truly call herself the princess of friendship.
