Wonderful!!!!!!! That is exactly how it should have been. Twilight shouldn't be an alicorn and celestia should have learned that lesson.

An Alicorn Twilight hater if I ever saw one. One day? One day? Seriously? Why not a week? Probably because in a week, Twilight would have gotten better. Selfish petitioners make dumb suggestions? Cut 'em off after 10 seconds of B.S. and escort them out of the room. Nobles make racist speeches? Ban them from taking part in politics and have an expose on them printed. Stacksand stacks of paper work? Organize them and push for reform and efficiency so whatever took 5 pages only takes 1, and cut down and cut down on frivolous and arbitrary spending like dental records and mane color. In other words, take the bull by the horns and make it bend to your will, because you are the Princess, and you are the ruler of this world! You will be respected! You have the power, and you will enact all the changes you want. Your friendship will be tested, but it is a test you must go through and one you can pass with effort. Quitting was the worst possible thing to do, especially due to what that racist noble said earlier.
So. . .the moral of the story. . .is that this racist bigot evil guy was right. . .

Try to put your hatred for Alicorn Twilight aside and try to see the positive qualities Twilight has for this position. The writers had Twilight take command of the Royal Guard in the Premier to show that she can do it. Remember "Winter Rap Up"? Remember "Hurricane Fluttershy"? Remember "The Crystal Empire"?

Now that I think about it, Twilight the Tyrant would make for an awesome story.

I think I might have used the wrong language before. What I was trying to say would be if Twilight is a ruler of the kingdom, then it is her duty to change things. If she doesn't make any reforms, then she is a bad princess, which she isn't. "Winter Wrap Up" anyone! I'm still not convinced that you've watched that episode. She doesn't have to throw people in dungeons or use Dark Magic in order to make things easier. All she needed to do was give petitioning some structure, reign in the nobles' power, fix the paper work. She could easily push for a Limited Monarchy with an elected Parliament. Twilight is a strong character who doesn't give up unless she's Discorded. So why'd you make her into a wimp? Why is she hanging up her crown and weeping like a cry baby? It's an insult. Like, imagine your favorite President of the United States throwing a temper tantrum.
And as for a Twilight the Tyrant story, if you decide to write it, then please portray Twilight's descent in a gradual logic way. You're writing style is really good. Please take your time to write proper plot progression.

This story fails on so many levels.
I do know twilight. To be honest, this story wasn't completely great. However, the theme was the thing that was good. People say I have a talent for noticing hidden things, both in writing and real life. If you look beyond that other stuff and look at the moral, you can find the hidden theme. I myself am not an alicorn hater, but I will cherish the good memories. Why do you think I call myself Legacy writer? I find the good memories of a person or thing and make sure it lives on in memory.
