The town is a quiet, peaceful place, or as much as one in the wasteland can be anyway. There's the occasional dust-up with hostile wildlife, but as far as life in the Equestrian Wasteland goes, it's not a bad place to live. That is until this little town finds itself on suddenly very much on the map., or back off it as the case may be. Thrown out into the brutal wasteland, two friends, Orphic Tome and High Caliber have to survive in their harsh new environment and try to stay together despite their differing goals. With one bent on revenge and the other driven to rebuild their lives, can they preserve their friendship and accomplish their goals? Or will the wasteland take another poor set of souls just trying to get by?

Inspired by the heroics of the mysterious mare known as the Stable Dweller, Silver Storm, a guard of the town of Marefort, decides to go on a daring mission to rescue her captured brother. Of course things rarely go as planned and her attempts at heroism drags her into a tangled web of plots and conspiracies as warring factions vie for control over the last great city: Dise.

When Fluttershy received her certification as a fog specialist, she only wanted a plausible excuse to write off the expenses associated with her ground-based house on her taxes. The draconequuses have always been feared and hated by the civilized creatures of the world. Naturally skilled at magic and with a penchant for mischief, they have long been a thorn in the sides of many and something to be detested.

Meet Cantrip, a young female draconequus and one of the last of her kind. For fourteen years she has lived in hiding and fear for when the ponies and griffons would come to take her too. Just another brutish creature to be wiped out.

But she won't go quietly, and what someponies might not know is that monsters aren't merely born.

They're made.

Note: This is technically an alternate universe, though it was intentionally written to mesh with the canon universe as seamlessly as possible. It shouldn't matter much.

A lovestruck knight in Equestria's early days, unconvinced of his own worthiness, decides that he must prove himself to the mare he loves. With Princess Cadence as his guide, he is put on a quest by the Crown to go forth and right wrongs and ease sorrows associated with latent Chaos, all while learning of the Elements of Harmony from the ponies' companion races.

The entire piece is written in iambic pentameter, with the exception of a few English sonnets, which are italicized.
