A story in the same vein as My Little Dashie, but not a carbon copy.
Awoken in the middle of the night by a mythical creature sitting on his doorstep, a man's life is drastically re-arranged by the sudden entrance of Princess Celestia. Struggling to accept things he couldn't ever think possible, he'll have to make a decision about what's worth changing his entire life.
(Note: I added the "Alternate Universe" tag because I imagined this being a reversed-roles universe where Luna is the big sister and banishes Celestia, rather than the other way around.)

How will a Pony adjust to living in your human apartment? More importantly, how will you adjust to living with a pony? A mare pony no less. You should have known that someone with the name of Fluttershy would have been a pony. Equestrian Ponies are just so... foreign! You never know how to act around them. Will you be able to overcome this and cope with this pony invasion into your life?

(if you you haven't read 'Echo the daimond dog' and 'Griffin the griffin' read them first, this story is based on the theories they have of what goes on in Equestria and beyond it's borders; plus, they're both great reads)
They told me i could be anything......... well, I really didn't have a choice in this situation. Normally when a human goes to Equestria, they say human or become a pony, or a least that's what usually what happens in fanfics; that's not my case. of all things I could have become, I became a Demon from the pits of Tartarus.

Mort, also known as the Pale Pony (of Death), has been tasked to take time off from his rigorous duties of reaping souls. Seeking guidance, he is directed towards the town of Ponyville, to learn about the magic of friendship from Twilight Sparkle and her friends. All he needs to do is keep his true nature a secret. That shouldn't be too difficult...right?

He had to choose two path's after his parent's deaths. He chose the path to protect and serve. On one mission however, the team's jeep got hit with an RPG. Everyone but John managed to get out of the jeep, with him being in the gunner seat, so he took most of the blast. When he awoke, he was in a strange land, and totally unharmed. With his pistol drawn, he sets out to find how he got into this strange land.

Yes, Ik I'm currently working on an HiE fic, but I thought I'd give a shot at MiE...see if it was more my speed. Elliot Drake, an ordinary young man, wakes up in a strange forest and appears to be suffering from retrograde amnesia. He soon discovers that this forest is a long way from Earth and located in a land known as Equestria. While trying to regain his memories he does his best to cope with the world the he was thrust into. Elliot will make new friends and enemies all during his quest to remember and to find a way home.
