Welcome to the new Equestria: Several decades ago it spanned a continent, now it encompasses an entire world due to an unknown phenomenon that occurred many years ago. Equestriani towns and cities now dot the planet. What many of its inhabitants try to forget though is that many of these cities were built over older cities that belonged to a now-extinct race: humans.

Crystal Clear, a fledgling researcher with a fascination of these beings, intends to publish a book; a comprehensive take on their race. His task is not an easy one as the event all those years ago has ensured that nothing tangible of their era remained. The only way for him to gain any information on mankind is via old unofficial accounts and interviewing the 'newfoals' and anypony who lived with humans back then. But the latter are far and few... and those who had agreed before are now mysteriously refusing to comment. Why?

In the midst of this, Crystal's grandmother passes away, leaving him several memory orbs of her times with humans. Is this the break that he has been searching for? Will he finally come to an understanding of this elusive species or will he learn of something that he wasn't meant to know?

Twilight has found an old scroll in the starswirl the bearded wing of the canterlot library. When she attempts the spell everything goes wrong and something not of this world is pulled threw the portal she created. who knows what will happen now to this odd looking monkey.

Shortly after the Human/Covenant war, one of the remaining Prophets seeks out Equestria, thinking it an ancient Forerunner world. Captain Veronica Dare and her Squad of ODSTs investigate the Covenant's interest in Equestria.

After the disastrous invasion of Canterlot, an injured changeling wakes up near a small cottage and is quickly discovered by two of the last ponies she ever wanted to see. Now, with the help of her new "friends," she has to remain undetected in a town high on changeling hysteria that would not hesitate to throw her in the Canterlot dungeons should her true nature be revealed.

Simple, right?

Too bad she couldn't have picked a worse form to stay inconspicuous...

The element of loyalty is put to the ultimate test as she finds herself stranded in a foreign world with no idea where she is, how she got there or how she can even get back. When she is rescued by a small group of battle hardened soldiers on a secret search and rescue mission, she has no choice but to go with them if she wants to stay alive.

Soon she realises the seriousness of her situation as she finds herself on the front line on one of the worlds most fearsome battles.

The three are surprised when the see they aren't in the now war torn United States of America. Tyrin, the leader of the group, has now been out in a position where his knowlege of HiE fan-ficion is now a survival guide for the three. He knows one wrong move could make them look like monsters in the eyes of the ponies and is trying to find a way to keep that from happening.

I might go through and rewrite the first couple of chapters because my writing has improved significantly since I first started this fic. Until I do I ask any new readers to sit through the first chapters.

Also the general description is due to change anytime now as the nature of the story has changed as well.

Deep in the Royal Canterlot Archives lies a book that hasn't seen the light of day for longer than any pony could remember. Its uncovering reveals powerful magic as old as the Princesses, and tells stories of heroes and villains long dead. Twilight will find that this book is much more than just an ark of ancient magic, it was meant to be found...

Cave is a sixteen-year old, airsoft-playing, anti-brony who constantly gets annoyed by all of the conversations he hears regarding My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from his friends who recently became bronies. As if things couldn't get any worse, he suffers a mysterious bike accident while on his way to an airsoft game and ends up in the fresh-air smelling, sugary sweet land known as Equestria. Now, he must find out how he got there, especially a way to escape the land of ponies, or else he just may be stuck there forever! As much as he is very ticked off to be stranded in his worst nightmare, he may, at some point, realize that his brony friends may be right about the show after all. But for now, it's him, his airsoft gun, a bunch of girly ponies, and one heck-of-an adventure.

NOTE: The story takes place BEFORE the return of the Crystal Empire. Characters will be added as soon as they appear in the story.

Rated: Teen for Extreme Action, Suggestive Themes, and Violence

Three friends; Dustin, Claire and Vince, discover relics from an ancient civilization while with their university's history class on an archeological dig. Little did they know that this discovery, while small, would become the catalyst of hope, of betrayal, of conflict and chaos, and of rebirth.

Author's note; The story takes place in an alternate earth, where cities, nations and landmasses would be different, but history's more or less the same. More reference will be made to the FIM universe as it goes on. Any constructive advice (grammar errors/missing words/mis-representation of characters) would be great.
