Update.
Hello again!
I'm back bearing good news.
I want to finish this series once and for all aswell as my other story. "Twilight's passage"
I want to start by saying that I'm going to start by editing all the chapters to the first instalment of "A hero of war" but also fuse a few of them together to make it less of a pain in the ass to read.
I suppose some of you are wondering what happened to the sequel to this story. The truth was that I sorta wrote myself into a corner where I had a huge gap to fill with nothing to do so. Because of this, random parts of the plot were introduced in a sloppy way and I wasn't happy with how it came out.
In short that is why I deleted the story BUT that just gives me a chance to rethink how I am going to write it to my liking. But until then I'm going to be working on this one for a while. I'm not sure how regular updates are going to be butI intend to make them as regular as possible.
I loved this story after the first chapter and I want to finish it.
So watch out FIM.

Rise Against is an awsome band, Hero of War is an awsome song, you sir, are an awsome writer, and this is an awsome fic. The bond between Dash and Bishop makes me just wanna smile, I've always loved Rainbow Dash, and this story has made me love her even more. And the ending couldn't have been any better. This story about true friendship and loyalty gave me strength. And for some strange reason, now when ever I listen to Hero of War, I think of this story. So thank you, for making what Rainbow like to call "pure awsomness"
1790151 I'm really glad you liked it. I'm planning on re-writing this story in the future as I have spotted errors here and there. But it was a real blast writing it. If I can figure the story out in my head I might have a second go at writing the sequel.
For now though. College is my prioraty. I rarely post updates on this website but I intend to come back on a regular basis.

1999803 I know I didn't make things completely clear in the story. This story is over a year old and to be honest I'm thinking of re writing it. I think my grammar has improved vastly since I wrote this peice. But like I said, im thinking about it.

Simply a stellar, enthralling read!
The characterisation was superb and believable, and I couldn't help but laugh at the part where Dashie kicks Hitler in the face.
The only issues were a few grammatical hiccups and typos every now and then, most of which were ignorable.
Overall, an emotional roller-coaster the entire way through which I thoroughly enjoyed, and it's a ride I'd go on again without hesitation.
9/10 from me!
