I'm a brony, big surprise there but I'm proud of it. When given the chance to go to Equestria I wrote it off as the ramblings of a mad man. Boy was I sure wrong, now I'm stuck in the middle of something way over my head in a body three sizes to big trying desperately to reunite a filly with her mother.

Thus begins my days in Equestria, my days as Thud, the mountain troll.

This is set in the chess game of the gods universe with other stories like griffin the griffin and the ballad of echo so enjoy.

Our hero, the Marty Stu, has been sent on by the djinn's magic to yet another reality in the Equestrian Multiverse. He awakens to see that once again, he is not a human, but some combination of man and snake. A Yuan-Ti perhaps. More annoyed by this outcome more than anything else, he decides to explore where he's been sent this time.

Nothing is as they seem. Equestria, a land that many would assume to be the most wonderful world to exist, is all a miraculous illusion. Its joyous environment and lovable equines are all an incredibly convincing lie. Beneath the folds of this world's false beauty is an environment so horrifying, that the most rudimentary of the truth would chill the blood and freeze the heart. Trust me. I would know... a freak like me has seen this world on the inside and out, and has witnessed the terrors it contains.

You think I'm mad... I can see it by the look in your eyes. You think my story is impossible, eh? Well, it's not your fault for thinking that. Who WOULDN'T be driven mad by the horrors I'd seen? But I assure you... all of it, every last word down to the last period, is true.

Now sit down, please... and I shall tell you a tale like none which you have ever heard.

Everything was normal, then he unknowingly hit on his friend, and ended up in Equestria. Now he must struggle, against his own anger, the forces of darkness, and some rather hungry creatures that would love to make him into a snack.

This is a part of the story universe called "Chess Game of the Gods", which was created in Rust's mind in the form of "The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog" which was continued upon by Blackwing in his story "Griffin the Griffin", and now there are humans running about in the world to amuse some crazy gods.

An accident in the lab sends our favorite boy genius to Equestria, as a pony. What will he do and how will he get back? The answer: Science! (Cover Art Updated!)
