Twilight Sparkle, younger sister of Princess Celestia's personal student, Shining Armor, grew up listening to her brother's bygone dreams of joining the elite of the elite: The Royal Guard.

Now, fresh out of the Academy, this young mare is ready to prove herself equal to the deeds of the great soldiers she read about as a filly. Too bad the princess she ends up protecting isn't Celestia.

You are stranded in Equestria by means unknown. And now by a stroke of luck or an incredibly suspicious offer you are now a citizen of this great land and turned into a mackerel...no you silly, a pony! So, in the meantime you find yourself trying to live a simple life but in a town like Ponyville and anything can happen!

So join, Spiced Tea as he battles mood swings, the seasons, a deceptively sneaky perverted and otherwise all around royal monarch, the longing for meat of any sort, biological clocks, mishaps and your basic set of comedic romance cliches as you journey in and around Equestria [well not really as you dont really travel anywhere because I did not click on the adventure tag] and perhaps you might find the love of your life to be the pony next to you...or ponies next to you.

During the last Winter Wrap-Up in Ponyville, you were given the job of making sure that the cauldrons used to melt the snow - so that the water could be reused - were stocked with wood. It was tedious and backbreaking work, which you loathed every second of — and now they want you to do it all over again.

Good thing you expected this, and spent the necessary time preparing.

This year, you are going to show these ponies the proper way to heat stuff up...

AUTHOR'S NOTE: My entry for this months UK of Equestria Fanfiction Writing Contest, in which contestants were asked to write a story about whatever came to mind.

Rarity has to get a tome from the library. That's where Twilight lives.

But the thing is, Twilight's a worm. A book worm, in fact. And Rarity doesn't like worms.

Almost everypony has a soul mate, one they are destined to live with and love for all their days. They give their body, heart, and soul to each other. Rarely do soul mates ever change, but occasionally there is the twist of fate that happens.

During their escape from the crystal caverns, a lose rock manages to almost impale Twilight before Cadence pushes her out of the way and takes the blow. Seeing her foal sitter dying, Twilight uses all her magic to save Princess Cadence with a very dangerous spell. It is not without a consequence as she, unknowingly, gives her own life energy to Cadence, tearing up the soul bond between her brother and her foal sitter. Instead, it makes a new one: one between the two of them.

With Shining Armor’s own bond broken, it attaches itself to the closest being it can: Queen Chrysalis.

As Applejack follows Pinkie Pie, who's so secretively planning a party that she forgoes conventional methods, even being so clever as to not buy anything Applejack might ask about, Applejack runs for the hills when Pinkie's tail starts twitching. If only she knew the Chaos in her life that would ensue

After Rarity says something that breaks his heart, Spike snaps and storms out of her boutique. Leaving Rarity confused by the last words he said before he left. Discord appears and decides takes her on a little trip through time to show her how Spike really feels about her.

This story takes place during the events of Simple Ways and after the events of Twilight's Kingdom.

Apple is a funny word, one that Winona doesn't quite understand.

Her family uses it to refer to food, to trees, to themselves and to each other. It's all very inconsistent.

But whether she understands it or not, she'll always be there for the pony she knows as Little Apple.

Twilight looked over to her dear mentor, Princess Celestia, and found she had once again fallen asleep mid-lesson. Her intense debate on awakening the princess was cut short when the decision was taken out of her hooves.

“Huh? Oh. Twilight, I am so sorry for falling asleep again. I think we need to reschedule this for tomorrow morning.”

Twilight nodded. After all, Princess Celestia was obviously overworked. If only there was something she could do to help.

No one has seen Sunset Shimmer in a week after the Fall Formal. Principal Celestia is getting worried. She doesn't really know much about Sunset Shimmer, but she is aware that she is alone in this world. When Celestia finds Sunset it is worse than she knew. Now, Celestia moves to heal the heart of the girl from another world. It is to be a difficult and hard fought battle against Sunset's own perception of self.

Can Sunset turn her life around from the downward spiral that it is in? Or is she right to believe that she is only a demon and deserves only the worst in life? Sunset's journey to forgiving herself starts with allowing her mentor's alternate into her life, but does she deserve to have the chance to disappoint two Celestias?
