As funny as breaking the fourth wall is, no offense but I think you should stick with first or third person, as a lot of grammatical errors seem to occur from second person, as well as mass confusion and hysteria, just a little advice i thought I'd offer.
Also, the guy dreamed of cucumbers on the same day he heard about a guard and cucumbers...my conspiracy senses and overactive imagination that I probably shouldn't pay attention to are telling me Spiced is an evil overlord who is really just acting like he's normal...or something like that.
