Sunset Shimmer, has finally decided to return to Equestria to right all the wrongs that she has done on both sides of the crystal mirror. She is even ready to face whatever punishment Celestia sees fit, no matter how great it is.

Imagine her surprise when she is forgiven AND given another chance to be Celestia's student again.

As she makes amends and hoofs out apologies, she will also make some friends with both old and new faces, including Celestia's adopted son, Lockon Astros.

And little does she realize that, fate has plans for her once again. But this time, she will earn more than just the redemption that she seeks.

Anon-A-Miss occured before Winter Break, and tore down everything Sunset had built up to prove she had changed. She's the main victim of this deadly online secret teller, and everyone believes she's guilty. Including her so called friends.

It takes her to a point of no return, but at last minute before she jumps, she's saved by an unlikely ally... does she even a right to that word anymore?

Sunset Shimmer has just recently earned her redemption, AND been crowned a princess along with it after her role in saving the Crystal Empire from a the combined forces of King Sombra and an Alicorn Amulet wielding Chrysalis along with her army of changelings.

Not only that, she has even found a special somepony to call her own: Princess Celestia's adopted son, Prince Lockon Astros, whom Sunset had helped overcome his desires for revenge before her ascension.

Together, their love for each other will take down an unfamiliar path, but it will be one they are both willing to take as long as they have each other.

They will also have many surprises in store for them along the way, some of which will involve their friends as well. Including the appearance of an ancient enemy.

(Quick Author's note: This story is predominantly in the Romance and Slice of Life categories. But there will be a point in the plot that will push this story towards the boundary separating the Adventure category from Slice of Life. I am saying this because there can't be a story that is both Adventure AND Slice of Life. But I will not say anything more than that, since I don't want to spoil anything for you guys.)

Upon meeting Sunset Shimmer, the newest member of Crystal Prep, by pure luck after school in the hall, Twilight hasn't been able to get her mind off of her. It's finally declared by Dean Cadance that she's in love. Shining Armor and Cadance couldn't be happier, and so could she.

Only problem is, Sunset's taken and she doesn't know it.

Being a unicorn pony, a high school student, a magical girl that fights with the power of friendship, and an artist, Sunset Shimmer thought she was ready for anything the world could throw at her.

What she never expected was to be called by the principal, saying that her mother was looking for her.

Sunset Shimmer did many things in her life she wasn't proud of. Things that made her feel ashamed of her past and herself. She helped fight off the Sirens, "The Dazzlings", as they were known during the Battle of the Bands. Perhaps the former Unicorn could finally find happiness... right?

Anon-a-Miss happened. An unknown user of MyStable started posting secrets about every student at CHS. Sunset received the blame. Punished for a crime she didn't commit.

Nobody believed her, not even the Rainbooms. The group of friends she thought of as exactly that... her best friends. Her family. Princess Twilight couldn't be reached, either.

Was she destined to be alone? The Magic of Friendship nothing more than a mere lie?
