This story is a sequel to Cuddle Time...Again!

The Canterlot Castle's dungeon is renowned for being the highest-security jail in all of Equestria (after Tartarus, of course). Little do ponies know, but the most dangerous, unpredictable, and crafty criminals are held in an entirely different floor, directly under the watchful eye of Princess Luna.

Luna ALWAYS extracts the information she needs from those held in her secret Cuddle Dungeon. And if they refuse to cooperate, well, she'll just suffocate them in her chest floof until they fold like a house of cards.

High Tide lives a quiet life by the sea, pleasantly existing day by day as he scrounged the ocean waves for treasures and nick-knacks. Not a whole lot happens, but that's fine. There's nothing in his life to complain about, and everything is fine.

Then, one day, he sees a mare playing in front of his house, splashing and bouncing in the surf. He watches, mezmerized, but how much fun she's having, and by that strange suit she wears, making her look like a dolphin, or an orca. She's hypnotic, aluring, different, new. His routine is gently shaken just by her being nearby.

Seeing her every day for a while makes him want to go up and talk to her, get to know her. And he finds he wants to talk to her more. Life becomes even better when he makes a friend as nice as Gabby.

Our past experiences shape us. Our joys and sorrows both come reverberating out of the past to influence the present and the future. For Vinyl Scratch, today is the day that she will start to come to terms with the echoes of her own past and how they continue to affect her relationship with her marefriend Octavia Melody.

Queen Chrysalis likes it when I boop her on the nose. It helps her relax. However, one day, Princess Twilight Sparkle bursts in, thinking that Queen Chrysalis has put a spell on me.

Shortly after Princess Luna returned from her thousand-year banishment, she discovered that the species she loved, the bat ponies, are still alive, in the section of Canterlot overshadowed by the mountain that stands above it. She is saddened by the condition of the slums that the race are forced to live in. Wandering through, she meets a very special bat pony, who is willing to break the law valiantly just to protect three young souls from a life they shouldn't have to live.

Gilda had flown out to see an old friend only for it to end in disaster. Now at a club (the only place with halfways decent drinks) she simply wants to drink in peace. Vinyl Scratch, unfortunately, will make that impossible.

Rated teen for language.
