Sunset hasn't received a message from Princess Twilight in a week. When she finally receives one, it's not from Princess Twilight. When she reads it, she finds that it's from her past self.

Knowing this, Sunset sets out on a course to make her past self realize that the mirror was false. That being an alicorn wasn't their destiny. She needed to make her past self understand. Otherwise, everything could go wrong. She doesn't care about the consequences.

However, the ramifications of her somehow being able to talk to her past self is something even worse than she expected...

This is an alternate universe, set in within one of the time altered universes that Starlight created.

Inspiration taken from that one book where a newt who waves a stick around to shoot lights into the air went around some world where there are witches and gathered all the information for a book detailing some monsters and creatures so you don't get killed by them.

Discord goes a little too far in his pranks, and Starlight blasts him into oblivion. Since he's a douche, Starlight will stop at nothing to make sure he's gone forever.
