From birth, Luna was a gifted unicorn.

So gifted, in fact, that Princess Sunset, the Solar Diarch, personally took notice of her abilities when she applied to attend Princess Sunset's school for the Gifted and Talented. When her pegasus sister, Celestia, hatches a phoenix egg, their entire life is changed.

Now, as Princess Sunset's personal students, the two sisters must figure out why sources of knowledge are disappearing, being stolen, or forcibly taken by dark shadows. Could the weird behaviours of the changelings explain the reason?

The one thing they do know is that something dark and powerful is plotting something in the shadows. And only they can stop this evil.

And why does Princess Sunset insist that the situation is nothing to worry about?

After Celestia dismissed her warnings about Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle decides to take matters into her own hooves. She finds a spell to be able to travel to the moon so that she can save Equestria.

She then also decides that blowing up Nightmare Moon is the best way to go. Way to go, Twilight!

Equestria is now unified, with all three pony tribes living together in harmony.

But in order for Sunset Shimmer to complete her studies and become a full mage, her master, Starswirl the Bearded, says she must complete seven trials. Even worse, Sunset doesn't even know what the seven trials are!

A sorceress by the name of Wallflower Blush is in love. And the pony she's in love with doesn't even know she exists! Resorting to darker means to get the pony's attention, she retrieves a stone that has the ability to wipe memories or fragments of them. She vows to make sure that nobody knows the pony, and only she will remember her.

An Alternate Universe in which Sunset Shimmer is in the place of Clover the Clever, and Wallflower in the place of the sorceress.

Hearth's Warming is here again, just a few months after Twilight's coronation!

During these few months, Twilight has been overworking herself and has almost no time to spend with her friends outside of their monthly meetings.

Starlight wants to surprise Twilight on Hearth's Warming but needs something fresh, and thus she enlists Sunset Shimmer's help, to ask her how they celebrate Hearth's Warming on the other side. Sunset agrees to help, and they work together to make the perfect Hearth's Warming for Twilight.
