In her defence, Celestia was only ever a supporting character in the show, so it was obvious Twilight was going to see a lot more action. But even so...

Someone needs to make a video on how many times Twilight has almost died, it has to be atleast around 100, just to be clear Celestia is usually the one making Twilight handle these situations, so anything that happens to Twilight is practically on Celestia.

I agree... with a tiny counter in the corner to tally the EXACT amount of occasions Twilight came close to death's door while Celestia sat on her butt in the palace eating sweet treats. (To Celestia fans: I love her, really I do, but it's safe to say if it hadn't been for her prize student, she never would've gotten the chance to retire peacefully a hundredfold).

so in conclusion twilight is doing the twilight overthinking dumb think and jumping the wrong answer that isn't needed and if she just looked at Ponyville she would see a stupidly huge crowd and for some reason she found all those items that make no sense in a book that sounds like discord had a hand in making as a epic troll without see the crowd in Ponyville she is either blind or really dumb at the moment

My response to that would be she was so resolute in her determination to collect all those items to save everyone that she was blinkered to how many people were in Ponyville, or round the castle or whatever. Besides, in this story, she didn’t go anywhere near Ponyville so she couldn’t have seen anything anyway. It’s only a wacky, humorous off-the-cuff fic, in any case… you don’t have to take it so serious.

It's more along the lines of she is so smart you get. She is so stupid at times when she is hyper focused. She doesn't think of the most simplest answer even though yes, it is extremely weird that an entire cities population is not there. She just immediately goes to the end of the world type scenario first

She’s so used to the answer to every question being a BIG HEROIC QUEST that she didn’t realise the solution could be much simpler and right under her nose. That was my thinking behind the story… agree or disagree, it is what it is.
That’s the life she’s adapted to for years since the rise of Nightmare Moon, she would probably find it hard to adapt to a quieter time. At least, like you saw at the end of the fic, she unintentionally took care of a major threat which could’ve caused a big problem in the future in the process.
A little lack of continuity as, despite all the skills that Twilight developed throughout the series, it would have taken him at least a week of his time to have all the ingredients before facing the Lich
