As someone who has actually kept up with Yugioh somewhat, "D.D." was a series. The version that's an archetype is spelled "D/D" and translates to the exact same thing. There are logical reasons for doing this, but I don't feel like going into them at the moment.

While it's too slow for the modern game, setting a monster and then having its flip effect triggered by an attack has surprisingly few outs. Most negates can't be activated during the damage step, and neither half is susceptible to Solemn Judgement. Granted, most traps are also too slow for the modern game...
