He’s not weaker, it’s just that he doesn’t have the same power he did when he defeated all the army. Firstly, he had a magic surge when he defeated the army, and he isn’t going through that magical surge anymore. Secondly, he forgot how to actually fight like he did before. The muscle memory is still there, but he cannot remember. Thirdly, he doesn’t have a power boost from an outside source like he did against the army. And fourthly, he’s now a colt, so he isn’t as strong.
