Your blessing and curse thing already exists it exists in a game and in an anime when you defeat someone you take one of their skills like the ability to shoot straight or their ability to run and if you lose they take one of your abilities like singing or the ability to literally juggle but if you were to attack someone who doesn't have any abilities whatsoever you instantly lose one
