This would be a TWO PARTER episode
100 years ago, a scientist pony discovered a shocking secret about Princess Celestia, believing her to be a fraud, and feeling Friendship and Magic were not all that they were cracked up to be.
As a result, he was put on trial, scorned by the villagers and believers in friendship and magic, which began a great debauchery in all of Equestrian history, that it nearly drove everyone into chaos over their beliefs.
LESSONS:
1: Don't let others tell you how to think or what to believe in or worship.
2: ONE WAY... is not the ONLY WAY.
so Celestia did something real bad huh, or is it he falt of more then one?

A little sort of both... that's as best I can put it, the rest falls upon the attitudes of the ponies.
The spacing between the words is isn't good I suggest you work on it
8440457
I didn't do that.
In my original documentation, the paragraphs are only double spaced from one another, but when I copy and paste it here, it spreads them out like THAT. I refuse to go down and straighten them out myself (It would take too long and I am VERY tired as it is)
Also, the only way to make them normal spaced would be for me to copy and paste them from another source (Fanfiction.net or deviantart) THEN it would appear normal, but I have no intention of posting this fic there.
8440469
Yeah say why. You don't dislike something just because
Eh. Some people never learn. They're untouchable and go on believing as such. Just like bullies dislike stories without even bother to read it
8444391
I make that argument every time... and even THAT gets ignored (Watch, this comment will be downvoted, just because I said that)
8444466
Mine too
He's a Jackass
I have read this story yet and I already see the like to dislike bar
8446689
ah, don't let it get you, I have loads of mockers and haters, and even those that aren't prefer to just down vote the fic without even reading it for lulz (I've been told so, and proven it)
More than half the downvotes cannot be held as legit.
Wow. Miracle on 34th Street reference...I think.
8451063
I highly approve of this chapter, it's also inspired and based on my own dealing with arrogant mockers and riffers whom behave almost just like Shady...
...Not that they'll learn anything from it even IF they bother to read it (Just continue to downvote it and my own comment responses)
Is this what they call a Bittersweet ending?
8454826
Pretty much...
(To all my haters downvoting my comment responses... UP YOURS!!)
8454868
I'd reply with a video of Monty Python policemen using an Ouija board, but I'm using my phone and it doesn't work enough
This was a great story. The only issue I really have is Shady’s cardiac arrest caused by... losing the case. Even in the world of MLP, that doesn’t make sense. If you could, could you explain to me why losing the case caused his heart to fail?
10197070
He was overwhelmed with stress and anxiety from his failure, and desperate to get people to pay attention to him... that would do it to anybody.
10197092
That’s what I figured happened, but I wanted to be sure, just in case. Thanks for the clarification.
Personally, I think this is one of your best works.
It also kind of reminds me of Ace Attorney
like the bible reference at the end, to those wonderin, the original quote is He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
Isn’t celestia raising the sun common?
It’s something that could get her dethroned.
Let me guess, she fakes raising the sun?
How?
So put them together?
This is starting to remind me of how some people are with religion.
Does she really feel bad, though?
At the cost of somepony else.
But how do you know it’s not the evil itself?
I don’t.
Wait a minute, how many ponies in the jury feel the same way?
I love him.
That’s strange. I see facts but no printer.
He’s not wrong.
How does she know this happened?
He’s not 100% wrong.
I feel like rates is hiving him the win.
Bullsh*t
Wow, so he basically used their own beliefs against them.
Why does she have to choose?
I think there’s this thing called karma.
What is she talking about?

Sort of...
What he's doing is he's pointing out how FLAWED their beliefs are, same way how people pointed out flaws in the Bible.
Or even more...
Jonah was swallowed by a GREAT FISH (But in reality, even the biggest of Great Fishes can't swallow a human whole; they don't fit)
Joshua halted the sun in the sky. It's not the sun that moves, but rather the Earth spinning on its axis, and if the Earth were in fact to stop spinning, it would shrivel up from excessive exposure to sunlight and be destroyed..
Aphraxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber Basically, these people are the holiest of holy in the bible, but they conceived (Begat) their children and they begat theirs the same way anyone would... BY DOING THAT!! But the Bible considers DOING THAT as original sin.

Ok, i think I get it.
