I figured I'd try something new this time around: write a few stories ahead of time to get a queue of sorts going.
I'll have another one ready to go next week. I was gonna have another one after that as well, but I've suddenly decided to write something for another series I've become a fan of, so it'll take a little longer to get back to the other one.
This is one of the cutest stories I've ever read.

I'll straight up admit, I was daunted when I saw 21k words. But it was worth the read. Glad to see you haven't lost your touch bud.
The only thing I saw in there grammar wise was one time where Butterscotch's name wasn't capitalized near the beginning. Other than that, stellar! A+

I broke my own rule, of not dividing it up into chapters if it exceeds 10K. Wondering if that might be part of why it's not getting that many views.
I facepalmed so hard when I saw that it was 20K words AFTER I published it.
Oh well, at least it's featured in between getting swapped out every now and then for the Hot/Bothered story... I'm wondering if that's a glitch

Great fic. I thought it ran a little long, but I honestly can only think of a couple places you could have cut some fat, namely a little bit in the spa and some of the stuff with the Cakes. Everything with Butters and Berry was wonderful.

Yeah, I went way too long with this fic. I'm gonna chalk this up to new territory jitters that made me forget my own rule. Hopefully my next male shipping story won't be as clumsy
6836625 I mean, you can still cut it up into more reasonable chapters. 22k words is a ton of words to read in one sitting, and while I'm sure that some are perfectly content with it, I know that massive word count held in one chapter dissuades a lot of people from reading it, myself included.

Nope! Not taking it back. This story was mostly meant as a way for me to practice stallion clop, I didn't expect it to do that good. The fact that it got featured is already enough, especially since I already got featured last week anyway. I'll keep it the way it is and have it be a reminder, a lesson learned for the future.
This is the sweetest, most heartwarming story about cartoon ponies having gay sex that I've ever read.
And fwiw, I was fine with the word count. I suppose it could've been broken into two chapters but I thought the pacing was good.

...I'm honestly having having trouble getting through the first part.
I normally love long stories, but little bits keep bothering me. The names for Aloe, Lotus and Big Macintosh aren't...well, Lotae is just plural Lotus (and feminine plural at that), Angio is a prefix related to blood vessels, and Macareina is not only spelled wrong, but to my knowledge is not an apple at all.
Also, the whole introductory bit where Butterscotch went on a date with Red Gala, is attracted to her and then sexually stimulated by her, but can't get it up? That's...not normal, or (from my understanding) realistic. I mean, would he need to think about stallions to masturbate? Has he never gotten a random boner? I can't really fathom why it bothers me so much, but the only thread of logic to possibly attach is that Butters knows little to nothing about sex in regards to his own species, and has basically been sexually self-repressed his whole life...
Then there's the mind reading. Butterscotch didn't say anything other than "it almost happened, but it didn't." Elusive jumps to the conclusion--ignoring that Butters or Red could have been uncomfortable with sex at the time--that he's gay. No "maybe they didn't both want it on the first date," no "maybe one of them was trying and the other was oblivious," just straight to the gay talk...heh, I need more excuses to say that phrase.
I'm gonna read the rest now, probably 90% because I like the pairing and know everything will be chocolate pretzels in the end. Y'know, sweet, salty and twisted together.
Edit: Having finished reading, I'll say that I did get what I expected, once I worked past my little nitpicks. And it was pretty well-written, for the most part. There were some odd word choices ("drug" is not past tense for "drag," though, it's "dragged"), but overall it was worth it.
Gotta admit, that was cute as hell.
It's a great story of self-discovery, where we get to gradually see Butterscotch overcome his inhibitions. It was also brilliantly well written I love the scene where Scotch freaks out at Berry's toys,, that was funny as hell. And just how accepting everyone was of Butterscotch.
Have a like, not just for the story, but for being the first (that I've read) to include basic sanitation before the sex occurs.

The sanitation was one that I was on the fence about putting in. It kind of bugs me when I read M/M fics that kind of have butt play magically happen perfectly without any prep work. I mean, I understand nobody wants to go into the gritty details of that kind of stuff, it's kind of like a thing that people don't want to talk about; but I really did want to kind of address that kind of uneasiness a lot of people who are new to anal play kind of go through when they figure out what comes with keeping that area maintained.

So basically, I wanted to make the reader cringe a teensy bit for humor, but not to the point that it killed the mood for the fic. And since nobody's left any negative comments regarding that moment, I'm guessing I did it well enough.
Now THIS is an erotically hot stories. Have a like and a fav.

Oh my gosh, this fic was REALLY good! I love how you injected a lot more realism than what fics usually do; Prep work beforehand, someone being intimidated by a lot of toys if it's the first time they thought about it, and the end where bubble refused the relationship and gave a valid reason why instead of the whole "And then they were coltfriends forever." and how it's not like, huge painful anal blood and gore the first time anal happens and there's not the other end where you just thrust and there's no pain or discomfort, ugh, I hate that about fics.
You put a realistic breath of fresh air into magical gay pony sex basically, and I thank you for that. The fic was also extremely hot, Loved how you characterized both of them, and the leadup to the clop was really nice too!

You can usually tell pretty quickly into a sex scene whether the writer knows what they're talking about, or if they've just seen a lot of porn and hentai and think that's good enough. I like to add some degree of imperfection in the events I'm depicting; it helps break the ice or ease the tension for the reader to know that sex isn't usually perfect like in porn. People make mistakes, but if the people involved are people worth doing it with, it's not a big deal. It makes a pleasant laugh, and then it's forgotten as the activities resume.
So yeah, I especially like to incorporate some realism with anal play. As nice as it would be, things don't just go in easy without some preparation beforehand. Glad that detail is appreciated by my readers.
