A) You tried too hard, or
B) You didn't try hard enough.
I could feel your hate seeping through the words on the story. That isn't good. It's, like, you just ruined their world just because. Don't get me wrong, the concept of Twilight realizing that we are (or were, in this case) their gods is phenomenally interesting. You just handled it poorly by... not handling it at all.
Twilight just comes: "HEY, I HAVE A BRILLIANT CONCLUSION THAT IS TOTALLY SUPPORTED BY FACTS!". That isn't Twilight. And that wasn't Celestia either. Or Xenolestia, whatever. You had a golden opportunity to write Twilight slowly coming to this realization, feeling the dread that she probably felt (knowing that you are doomed for obliterating your creators and how much you were deceived by a fucking psychopath who pretended to love and care for all under Her Wing). You also had another golden opportunity by having Twilight's confrontation being much more emotional (and possibly having Twilight outwit Xenolestia).
But look at the word count. Just look at the fucking word count. Do you think you can nicely wrap up everything happening in this story in 1k8 words?! Not to mention the needed explanation (even if simply "it's
magicthe universe tearing itself out, bitch".But instead, you simply got fed up with a TCB story (or its premise, because it is shit and those who like it are either fucking psychopaths or retards, I won't deny), opened this site and typed a few words, like "yeah, that'll show 'em!". Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating on your intentions a bit, but this sounds more like a punch at TCB 'tards rather than an actual story which tries to be meaningful.
If you say that you just wanted to write a quick one-shot, then a blog post with your reasons why TCB sucks would be preferred, since there you can bullet-point and explain your thoughts. In this quick one-shot, you can't.
You just dropped the ball.
And yes, you are completely right! That is just my opinion. Doesn't make it any less valid, though.
Edit: Please consider taking this down and reworking/expanding this story. This can be good. Really fucking good. It has all the right ingredients! You just have to cook it right!

I mostly just write dumb trollfics. One was where I ship Hitler and Xenolestia.

I love the irony here. And the piece at the end, with us being their gods... Heh. Even more ironic, considering the trope that Xenolestia is a goddess, or views herself as one in most TCB stories.
Huh... I thought of a premise like this before and even if it's short it still makes an interesting development!
It's like the characters coming from a fanfiction and killing the author that wrote their universe, they would cease to exist since the ever growing world of that fictional dimensions past, present, and future is based off of the imagination of their writer and this can be applied the canon franchises as well.
This was a paradox of epic proportions... I do have to wonder though, if we were the ponies gods since it was our imagination that made them if a human was to truly show up in equestria would we still be considered a 3D being in a 2D world? (AKA gods)
The type of scenerios this fic makes me think of are outlandish that I actually want to see a fic or two made of them
