I spell checked that damn description twice too...
3445334 I finally got around to reading the metaphorical meat and potatoes. Pretty good. Definitely better than the old description (pouring salt in the wound, I know, I'm so diabolical
). There were, however, a few errors I noticed, like this:
As far as I could tell, in the larger context of the story, they had already gotten the novels, supported by a description of their number and location. If you use 'manage', it implies present-tense, which means that they still scrounge around. Now, if they still do scrounge around, you can't really describe their number.
I know, I know. I'm a Grammar Nazi. Sue me.
This is still a great story. I just have to find the time to read Fool's Gold...

There's a prologue of some sort floating around in the miasma of creativity you, Merc and JJ seem to share a space in, and there's a sequel to Big Red in the works? Possibly? All on top of Heist 3 and the finale.

The prologue is actually mine (though will likely be hashing with the bros, and they're welcome to join if they like what I have in mind. I will only say that it might be a little different from all the others. Though still starring a canon character!)
That was my bad on the Big Red...mostly that was to show that its own timeline pushes forward. So theoretically, there might be something after that. I can't say, as while I'm a part of BR, that's mostly JJ and Merc's thoughts. Though I love my Llewellyn Shields--
--and then I just remembered that I do have something planned. While not a sequel per se of Big Red, I plan on taking Captain Lew with his own story after it, yes. Gotta throw in the better half, am I right? So yes, there's at least one story there, too. If I get them all done. I'm kind of bad at that, but I love this stuff, and want it out there, so we'll see.

Alright, jump off a 100ft cliff and take the brunt of the damage for yourself and Rarity. Broken wrist, pierced thigh, possible broken collar bone, a seriously injured back, not to mention a near death experience from hypothermia. What's that? You want to have sex? Yeah, I'm good for it. Since the sarcasm font has yet to be invented I'm going to say that that sentence is 100% accurate, at least in accordance with what I can do.

Another good chapter and looks like Spike got some love. Took falling off a cliff and almost dying but he probably isn't complaining.
It's great to see the heroes alive and well in this update and it was wonderful to see Rarity and Spike finally consume their love for each other in the heat of the moment. Who knows what can come out of a "Special moment" like that...
All I can say is that this was a great emotional passage and a great way to push these characters and give them renewed strength, both physically and emotionally towards their goal.
Great job all together and please do keep putting up such great work upon a wonderful story.

In a way, 'action movie logic' is always active for when it would bring out the best in the story. There are times we strive for more realism, and times we say, to hell with it, this is what we want to do!

Yeah double agents, I gotta admit, when Daniel said that last night didn't go as planned I would have had the gun to his head in Rarity's position, although that's not saying much considering I was sure there was a traitor here pretty much they moment those assassins started trying to break into Spike's room.
Oh sure make Spike's injuries less severe than they seemed at first so the whole thing seems more plausible. I once again find myself cursing the lack of a sarcasm font.
