When Rarity returns from a welcome party for Twilight, she finds a mare sleeping on the street. She shows what means to be the bearer of the Element of Generosity, allowing the poor mare to stay with her. In that time, Rarity will discover two things from the mare.

This story takes place immediately after my first story Love me... I mean, if that's ok with you. It's not a direct sequel. Don't like F/F, don't read. But if you are like "Don't tell me what to do!" Then go ahead.
Found this image in google, I do not take credit for that.

If you don't like it, please, leave a comment saying why so I can improve as a writer.

A for effort, well written, but not my cup of tea really.

2961333 Not the cup of tea of a lot of people, but I wanted to try this tea.

Interesting, really. Well written!

Well I dunno about the rest of the peanut gallery here, but I like where this is going. Please, continue.

2965472 Thanks, probably going to upload chapter 2 soon.

She's a changeling isn't she!

2975724

She's a weretimberwolf, I just know it! Why else would she work with wood so expertly?

2976422 Actually, that statuette she gave to Rarity is made of her mother skull.

2977120

Oh god, it's like Cupcakes... but with timberwolves! :pinkiegasp:
No tree is safe! Run! Run you fools!

...and this is why I was digging up and dragging all the trees, officer sir. Please don't taze me again. :pinkiecrazy:

2975568>>2976422 Nah, she's a pony who got zapped into the human world and then got zapped back to Equestria, making her a Pony on Earth Human in Equestria...thing...:pinkiecrazy:
...
...
...
Oh...and she's also an Alicorn because...:rainbowwild:

2978281

Whoa... ponception... :rainbowderp:

Clearly she is the result of the obscene union between Fluttershy, Mister Beaverton Beaverton, and a moth.

That explains why she's so shy and nervous, why she's so good with wood, and why she almost ate the dress.

IT ALL FITS! :pinkiecrazy:

3035820 That... makes a lot of sense.

any ideas on when the next chapter will be up? really looking forward to it!! :pinkiehappy:

3076674 :pinkiehappy: You just gave me the motivation to work on it. Give me at least 1 week to finish it. It's hard to work in 2 stories while studying.

3077677yeah i know what you mean. i have you as one of my favs!:pinkiecrazy: can't wait to keep reading on all of them!

3077694 There are good news and bad news.
Good: Chapter 3 is complete.
Bad: you will have to wait until my editor do his magic.

3105713I don't know if i love or hate you right now........ lol

So. Managed to get yourself locked in a bathroom, the freakin' Element of Harmony Bearers right outside, not to mention a bunch of Royal Guards just looking for anything suspicious, the building is practically busting at the seams with love, and it's all a party for you. Yep, she's boned.

Without knowing how much love Alice needs to sate her impulses it's difficult to puzzle out what will happen next. For all I know, she might just waltz back out to the middle of the floor and turn into a black hole, draining the entire building in one fell swoop, assuming her capacity is nearly unlimited and falling to her impulses leads to a bezerker-style feeding frenzy. If Alice just wants to cop out, she could teleport/climb out the bathroom window and flee Ponyville for greener pastures, but that would make for a very short story and no one wants to see that. And just coming out of the closet- er, bathroom, as her true self might be just as bad... a building packed with panicy ponies? "Nearly trampled to death" comes to mind. At least there's no dungeon in ponyville. Heck, I bet they don't even have a pillory. I bet they'd have to grab two of Big Mac's yokes and nail them together with some hasty iron strips and length of chain anchored to something very heavy like a statue. Which brings up the magic-escape slant. I suppose a magic-suppressor horn ring will do the trick, might even work too well by blocking the love-draining magic too.

I'm guessing 'Alice' saw the Sonic Rainboom and decided to try to not be a changeling anymore? Something like that.:ajsleepy:

This was good. Another! :pinkiecrazy:

3109070
1)Is not that simple.
2)Next chapter will take at least 2 weeks, 3 if I'm lazy.:scootangel:

Oh, Alice.... :facehoof: You try so hard...

I hope this ends well. :unsuresweetie:

I think it was a bad idea to give us this guards thought that hes going to investigate. It could have been a surprise to the reader. Still like the rarity pairing

‘One more day won’t hurt.’

Oh sweet innocent Alice, you just doomed yourself. :rainbowlaugh:

This story are adorable! :trollestia:

To much romantic too!

The dream sequence was a little terse, but then I guess they tend to be confusing when you only get snippets of memories. I find it interesting that Changelings will even slip into families to be raised as a pony's child, like a cuckoo bird. While it would get the most love in a short time from two adoring ponies, the young changeling would also be highly likely to unwittingly revert and blow their cover, just as Alice apparently did. Chrysalis never did strike me as the wisest one-- sneaky, but hardly clever. (If she ever got clever, we'd all be doomed)

3419620 Yep, I tried to make it as confusing as I could, not showing to much details and that, yet.
3419079 Thanks. :pinkiehappy:
3418894 Wow good?:raritystarry: Or Wow bad?:raritydespair:

Rarity/changeling shipping :rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss:

Aaaand, just like that, the cowpie hits the fan.

Great story, and anouther great chapter. I t seems we are nearing the reveal, or at least I hope so. Keep it up! :raritystarry:

this is gonna be good.
anyone want to bet that that guard knows her?

I have to wonder if Alice Sawyer was ever a 'real' pony, a completely fabricated identify... not that it matters when changelings are guilty until proven innocent.

3477549 There will be an answer to that in future chapters.

I'm enjoying this take on changelings. Sure its been done quite a few times but every writer brings something fresh to it and does their own spin. Rariy and Alice are well done and I like the interactions. Makes me wonder a bit at why she kept the name Alice instead of making a fake one, but I guess she didn't plan on the guards ever taking notice of her and being snoopy about it.

3484952 I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
Maybe in two chapters I will say why she uses that name.

3419620
Kinda late to the party but… the whole cuckoo thing is pretty much the entire shtick of the mythological changeling. Personally, I’m surprised that there aren’t more stories that borrow that facet from mythology; I mean, it’s not like authors have been sparing when it comes to borrowing from mythology with regards to anything else.

This chapter is my favorite thing by you.

3494884

But one slap or magic zot and the little foal is exposed for the changeling it is. Worse, the parents won't know if their real foal was "disposed of", stillborn, or growing up in a cocoon somewhere in a changeling hive. A little horrific when you start to think about it, more so for the parents who don't know what to do. I think that's the reason we don't see more of this scenario since any of those three possibilities is enough to send parents into a frenzy. Needless to say, this is probably one of the worst ways to harvest love since the likely consequences are yet more reason to kill all changelings on sight in the most gruesome ways possible.

I seem to recall some human folklore deals with babies being swapped out for fae. I want to say a goblin or something nasty like that but I can't remember exactly.

For all the time they've been hanging around, you'd think they would have perfected better techniques that mesh logically with modern pony society. Working as volunteers in help centers (whatever ponies call the Red Cross or YMCA), hospitals, or prostitution in the larger cities (a perfect cover in my opinion).

wow i never really comment and this is the first one I've ever left but, wow this is good:pinkiehappy:

3553870 I feel honored, thanks for the comment.

2962154 i just started and im already loving the story...also an idea of an unusuall ship---rarity x chrysalis. just an idea:scootangel:

3477549 alice used to be a pony then turned into a changling when she was younger...no i have not read any other part of the story, i just know how to pay attention to whats said.(she dreamed of her self as a child):facehoof:

3630878

i just know how to pay attention to whats said

Obviously not. :ajbemused:

She is a changeling from birth, the childhood dream was of her first replacement "job" she hated hurting ponies so she was culled (banished from her hive)

I have to wonder if Alice Sawyer was ever a 'real' pony, a completely fabricated identify... not that it matters when changelings are guilty until proven innocent

The question being asked is whether or not the name Alice Sawyer was a name she made up to get residency in Canterlot and is on the missing ponies list because she was flung away by the shield or took the place or a pony already dying.
