As a former member of Canterlot's elite law enforcement team, Twilight Sparkle is used to a certain level of responsibility. However, her years of experience are rendered useless by her sudden and unwanted transfer to the sleepy little town of Ponyville. With no other option, she chooses to give into the monotony.

But this all changes when a grisly murder shocks the entire town. As the only member of Ponyville's police force equipped to deal with this sort of thing, Twilight welcomes her first real case in over two years. But she quickly realizes that there is more to this murder than meets the eye. It seems Twilight's past has followed her to Ponyville.

With the help of her loyal assistant Spike, a series of strange clues, and some cryptic notes, Twilight tries to figure out the identity of the pony or ponies who have wrapped her up in their bizarre game.

A pony can choose to do many things in his or her life before he or she dies: he could be a farmer, bringing in produce and commerce to the kingdom, or she could be a rebel, fighting to further her cause. Death visits everypony, however: the farmer hopes to leave his farm in capable hooves before he passes, and the rebel hopes to have finished the fight for whatever cause she was fighting for before her time comes.

Sometimes, death likes to come calling early: the farmer taken before his prime provides no additional produce; and the rebel becomes a martyr, causing others to fight in her place.

Sometimes, rather than kill a pony, it is better to leave him or her broken.

September 7th, 1986. Equestria arrives on Earth and declares humanity 'evil' and 'unfit'.

September 16th, 1986. Talks between the races begin.

Quickly, the Soviet Union and the United States are forced to join forces to save humanity.

For some of the humans this could be a godsend. For many, however, they know what they have to fight for.

The humans know that they can only win together, and they will have to unite in order to prevail.

The epic of Pinkie Pie and the Immortal Man who's fate is tied to Equestria's. His life will be filled with dangers, choices, secrets, love, and most importantly, beauty. The grand veil begins its descent. The pieces set long before time's birth have begun to move across the board of fate. The Ballad which brought forth the universe has reached its finale. Coming across an artifact while exploring a forest cave, a young teen gets whisked off to a strange new land. unfortunately for him, this artifact did more than just transport him, landing him immediately in the world powers proverbial blade tip. Trapped in stone, this is how he spends his time.
