After Angel falls gravely ill Rainbow Dash agrees to help Fluttershy by embarking on a journey into Everfree in search of a rare herb needed to make medicine for him. The trip pits them against a creature dwelling deep in the forest, and the encounter changes Rainbow Dash's entire view of her gentle, reserved friend. As she spends more time with her following their return from Everfree, she finds her feelings for Fluttershy changing and is forced to deal with something she's never had to face before -- something that could possibly interfere with her dreams. While Rainbow Dash struggles with her first crush (with a little help from her friends), a lonely Pinkie Pie struggles with her resulting feelings of resentment and is drawn into an unhealthy friendship with a strange unicorn living on the outskirts of the forest...

I used to have one job, I was a mare who hunted vampire's to protect others, but most of the time you saw me, I wasn't jabbing a wooden stake in a creature from tartarus.

Normally I had my muzzle in a book, a real nerd I am. But one that isn't afraid to get their hooves dirty, or bloody in this case.

But now seeing my friend become one of them because of me- I couldn't continue my job as a vampire hunter.

Now it's my job to protect my vampiric friend from the ponies I hunted along side with, and also make sure Rainbow doesn't do anything dumb.

So now it's my job, and for some reason Rainbow Dash's too, to make sure nopony harms Fluttershy, and that Fluttershy harms nopony.

Taking place several months after fulfilling his dream, Blue Breeze continues living his life in Ponyville with all of his crazy friends as he survives all of the even crazier situations they get into.

This is the latest in a long line of fics about Blue Breeze. It is highly recommended to at least read 'The Mark of Blue Breeze' and 'Continuing the Dream' before reading this one.

Celestia has a secret child that she's kept from everypony around her because she wanted to make sure that the Ponies that would try to use the child for their own ends.
