Celestia and Luna have jointly ruled Equestria for centuries, and the land has been stable and prosperous under their rule, yet both of them have been slowly growing less and less enthused as the demands of their subjects begin to mount. As the two princesses approach their breaking points, it seems that the only thing that will stave off the destruction of Equestria is that both goddesses seem more focused on each other than the world at large. In the midst of this crisis, Twilight Sparkle, a newly commissioned officer in the Royal Guard, seeks what may be the only viable solution to this problem: locating the Elements of Harmony before either goddess can destroy them.

When a guy with a British accent walks into your backyard and wants to talk about ponies just walk away and lock the door behind you. Among all things to remember is if someone asks if you want to go to Equestria choose your words very carefully more than likely you won't get exactly what you asked for.

This is a part of the story universe called "Chess Game of the Gods", which took its' start in "The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog" which was continued upon by Blackwing in his story "Griffin the Griffin", and now the whole planet is a playing board for some easily amused deities.

One such monster from the past rises, proving that even the most powerful Alicorns can have their seeming aura of invincibility shattered. In an alternate reality, Discord found his love of chaos came in handy for babysitting young foals. For two thousand years, since he and the princess' were kids, he's babysat nearly everyone in Equestria. Now he's babysitting the cutie mark crusaders, and while he does he recounts with them his many babysitting jobs of your favorite characters as fillies, one by one.

This story takes place in an AU during Season 6.

Luna finds a book written by Star Swirl the Bearded that has been hidden ever since he went missing a thousand years ago.

One chapter is written in code and she is desperate to find out what it is hiding, but would it be better if his secret remains unknown?
