With the recent collapse of the Aviana, capital of the Gryphon Kingdom, refugees have been flooding into Equestria and with it, a host of racial issues. Toss in some changelings messing around in the background and it's a bomb just waiting to go off. With tensions on the rise, Gilda finds herself being dragged back into middle of the conflict by none other than Princess Luna. This time though, Gilda knows better and with her new found relationship with Trixie, she is willing to do anything and everything to get out of helping out. Unfortunally, one does not mess with a Princess, especially not the Princess of the Night.

Dragoons, magical knights that harness the magic of ancient dragons. When the power of these dragons is set loose on the world once more, Spike experiences a startling transformation. With the power of the other ancient dragons being harnessed by enemies of Equestria, Princess Twilight decides to put her life on the line and become a Dragoon herself. Realizing that goal will not be easy though, and if she succeeds, she will have to find the other Dragoons and bring them over to her side in order to end the threat to their peaceful way of life. But the path won't be easy at all. Words don't sway every mind, and with war ready to erupt, it will become kill or be killed when the powers of the Dragoons clash. Innocence and purity aren't easy to hold onto in the face of war and death. Twilight, with Spike at her side, will need to bring herself to make the hard choices needed to save those she cares about, and she'll need the support of her friends, old and new, if she's to succeed.

Just a few things to keep in mind when reading this fic:
- This is not a direct crossover fic. Characters from the game Legend of Dragoon will not have main storyline significance, at least as far as I have planned. If they do appear, it will be more in a cameo sense through history that shaped this world.
- While this holds Alternate Universe tags, all the events of the show have happened up to the end of Season 3. What changes have been made will affect only the history of the world and future events.
- The current title image is just a placeholder. Currently seeking special title art for the story.
-While this is a crossover fic, I intend to make it very friendly to people not familiar with the game Legend of Dragoon. So those not familiar with it should not feel alienated coming in.

Almost a year after the events of “Griffon the Brush Off” Gilda still laments over the events which ended her relationship with Rainbow Dash. After a brush with Discord the realization that life is passing her by compels her to go on a dangerous journey alone in the hope that it will allowed her to finally achieve a definitive win over Rainbow Dash in competition. Meanwhile strange events across Equestria begin to create tension between griffon and pony governments, threatening to open up old conflicts that were thought to be forgotten.

Gilda life and griffon society in Equestria at large are explored in great detail as Gilda is guided on a path that will ultimately reunite her with the only pony she ever cared about.

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.

Princess Cadance loves Hearts-and-Hooves Day. She does not, however, love the hundreds of letters sent to her every year from desperate and dateless ponies who misunderstand how her special talent works.

Still, not every letter contains a blatant request to remove another's free will. Some just ask for simple advice, or hold the naive-yet-innocent wishes of the young. And then there's a letter from a married writer who just wants his anniversary to be super special.

Although Mi Amore Cadenza is not the almighty angel of love that most ponies think she is, she might be able to help these select few writers.

The Mane Six and Spike are off on another adventure into the Multiverse, but they’re not going at it alone. This time, they’ll be accompanied by Spike’s girlfriend, Gabby and the bad girl griffon, Gilda. Together, they’ll all are transported back to the Pleistocene Era, better know as the Ice Age.

It is here they meet a grumpy mammoth named Manny, a fun loving yet idiotic sloth named Sid, and a scheming saber tooth tiger named Diego. The group must join forces with these new friends to help return a human baby to his tribe.
