Spike's been dealing with crazy ponies his entire life, but when he coughs up an invitation to the double wedding of Celestia and Luna to Flim and Flam, he realizes that he hasn't yet seen half the craziness ponies are capable of.

With no surviving family or friends beyond hollow acquaintances, he turned to drink in order to dull the pain of the same routine and all its awful reminders.

Twilight Sparkle and Spike have a fight, and Spike says something he doesn't really mean. Angry, Spike leaves for the night to calm down and comes back the next day-only to find his wish came true.

Rainbow Dash wants to ask Applejack to go out with her. The problem is that every pony seems to know her feelings EXCEPT Applejack. She enlists the help of her friends. Luckily they have their own ideas as to how to confess.

Warning: Get ready for a lot of face hoofs.

Spike has put on some weight after a slow week at the library, so much that Rarity refuses to take him gem hunting. Things go from bad to worse when Twilight puts him on a diet and he realizes how much he'll miss eating gems and his favorite fattening foods. The Cutie Mark Crusaders see this as an opportunity to earn their personal trainer cutie marks and put Spike on an exercise program in hopes that they'll get him back in shape.

Set directly after the Tirek incident, Fluttershy and Discord are suffering, alone and apart. Fluttershy may have forgiven him, but she feels that she has failed her friend, and longs to understand Discord. Why wasn't she good enough, why did he betray them? Why hadn't he cherished their friendship as much as she had?

Discord, on the other hand, struggles from the pain of his own guilt, and doesn't even know who he is anymore. He doesn't want to lose the closest friend he has either, but he's positive that their relationship will never be the same again. He can't stand it.

They're falling apart, and the magic of the earth isn't happy about it. Then a cloaked stranger comes into the picture, and plants a mysterious flower...

Fluttershy only utters a simple request. "I wish I could understand you, Discord..."

Little does she know that such a wish entails much more than just an understanding...and her wish is granted in the most chaotic of ways--and the only one who can help her is the very friend she is trying to understand.
