Twilight is making Spike start school, against the dragon's wishes, and sends him off with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. But noticing that Spike is down, Applebloom wants to cheer him up. Thus begins a number events that throw the young dragon and fillies into a journey of friendship, jealousy, love, adolescence, and self-discovery.

This year, the ponies decide to play Secret Hearth's Warming. Everything is all fine and dandy, but when Sweetie Belle draws Spike's name, her friends keep bothering to finally tell him how she feels.

So, this is my first fan fiction ever. I would like to dedicate this story to my friend who unfortunately passed away before I could finish it. Special thanks to my other friend for proof reading it. I hope to get better with experience.

Twilight Sparkle learns that the trust and goodwill of the Princess isn't always a good thing as she's given the trust of an important assignment. When that assignment turns out to be long-term, how will she handle taking care of a filly of her own? How will she handle this strange new filly, who proves to be much more than she appears. As a matter of fact, she seems to be from an entirely separate universe.

Meanwhile, Second Chance has kept only enough of her memories to know that she isn't what she should be. The wonderful world of Equestria has its own dangers, and she seems to have a knack for attracting trouble. The more of her memories return, the more she wishes she could just forget. But you can't forget when all of Equestria depends on you remembering.

Only one thing's for sure: The longer Twilight keeps this strange filly in her care, the stranger her own life will become, and things she thought she knew about Equestria will unravel before her eyes. Strange ancient devices, an eccentric mint unicorn and her so-called "Equestrian Precursor Society" are only the beginning for Twilight Sparkle as she begins a journey of her own. She too may wish she could simply forget. Unfortunately, it's too late for either of them.

During a traumatic event, an outsider finds himself flung violently into Equestria. His physical form is warped into that of the inhabitants but will his mentality follow? And even more importantly, will anypony truly accept him for who he is? Take a journey alongside this inexperienced youth as he finds himself in a strange new world with very different customs and tries his hardest to find a place for himself where he didn't before. A pity he can't even remember his name...

Okay, the basics. It's first person almost entirely. Very, very long chapters. I try to wrap them up around twelve to thirteen pages but a few slipped over that, especially towards the end. I'll release them slightly stagnated, as I'll be making final revisions as I go. Character tags are NOT final. I'll add more main characters as they show up in each chapter. Expect an update one or two times a week, probably. I adore reviews and structured, constructive criticism. Even if you just want to say you like it, that's fine too. :) I write stories to entertain peoples, so any evidence I get that it's working will encourage me. I hope you enjoy the story!

Discord is wanting to settle down with Fluttershy and stay with her full time, but as the god of Chaos he'll cease to be if he acts to normal and it becomes clear that no normal creature can stand chaos 24/7 and he seeks a replacement, he ends up landing on Spike for the job.
Spike is missing all the time he and Twilight use to spend together, even if it was mostly work, and ends up using his powers so he can earn her respect as an equal instead of being seen as a lowly assistant.
While planning his first move he ends up enlisting the Cutie Mark Crusaders aid so none of the other mane 6 feel left out of the fun.

Spike's unfaltering desire to be "Helpful", especially to Rarity causes him to incur major injuries that will take time to heal. It is throughout his recovery that he learns the true meaning of friendship as his pals come to his aid by proving he is appreciated as more than just an assistant. He further comes to learn how having limitations doesn't mean he is any less useful and/or appreciated.

Button Mash has finally convinced his mother to let him stay home alone while his family goes out for a few days, assuring his mother that nothing will go wrong.

Needless to say, something does go wrong. After burning the kitchen in a fire, Button Mash gets the brilliant idea on how to make sure his mother doesn't kill him. He's going to fake his death!

With no other choice, (Mostly thanks to blackmail) Button's friends must help him fool the town into thinking he's dead but he'll have to figure out a way out of this mess or his mother will bury him six feet for real.

One is the fabled Mare in the Moon, who once threatened to cover Equestria in eternal night. One is the deposed Queen of the once-terrifying Changeling race. These two beings have cast long shadows over the history of ponykind, but never before have they done battle with one another. Who would come out as the victor? Well, this is a question that is on the minds of some of Ponyville's most enthusiastic debaters.

Spike is the only dragon in Cantorlot. He was born and raised there and has earned The Princess's deepest trust. But when he fears danger will strike she wont listen and sends him and his assistant, Twilight Sparkle, to Ponyville. The Princess said that Spike needs to meet more ponies then just Twilight but Spike knows there is danger and will try as hard as he can to stop it.

Concerned by how lonely Spike has been acting lately, Twilight decides to send him back to school for the day in hopes that he'll make some new friends. He won't just be learning pony history there, though - he'll also learn something about one particular pony's true self.
