Twilight is making Spike start school, against the dragon's wishes, and sends him off with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. But noticing that Spike is down, Applebloom wants to cheer him up. Thus begins a number events that throw the young dragon and fillies into a journey of friendship, jealousy, love, adolescence, and self-discovery.

Hnnng! All this feels drive me crazy! It's so bittersweet seeing Scootaloo giving herself up for her friends. Exactly as heartbresking is seeing Sweetie Belle pining for Spike for so long and then seeing him fawn first over her sister and then over Applebloom. And having your heart broken twice (first because Spike has 'somewhat a relationship' with Sweetie Belle and then picking Scootaloo over her) rips Appleblooms heart apart too.
This is so confusing 
Spike would be a total bastard doing that to them - except he didn't start a single relationship.

It's a really nice ending but I've gotta admit, with ALL of the CMC liking Spike I kind of liked the idea of all three 'sharing' him for a date.
Ah well, this story seemed nicely paced, the characters were portrayed as in the show and none of the fillies crushes seemed overdone. Although I would have liked more of a reason as to why Scootaloo liked Spike I can understand that this was not the focus of this story.

You did this to torment me. Story was great so far and when I started reading the epilogue:
Beginning: "nice! He going on a date! Hmm, one pony? Maybe one is meeting him and the others are waiting... Or maybe he picked Scootaloo?"
Finds out it's Applebloom: "oh, okay. Well I kinda figured it would be her. After all they did-"
Read part of Sweetie dating snips: "..................... DA FUCK?! Are you serious? No! Wrong! Wha... How...."
Finish reading rest: "....... Stupid Epilogue.... Ruined my interest... Stupid snips..."
I just have to ask: why?
3751639 Not going to lie, the epilogue was wanted by a LOT of people on dA and I more or less came up with it on the spot a few months after I finished the first nine chapters. I kinda just wrote what seemed to fit for the story.
If it makes you feel better, I have written a lot more when it comes to shippings and a lot more for you to read.
