Okay, I'm gonna level with you here.

I have way more ideas with (and without) this character than is reasonable, so I'm just gonna shove em up here so I don't wind up writing a third goddamn full story. Think of it as therapy for the author. Most of these shorts will be set a number of years after the end of Make Love Not War. Knowledge of both prior Atom Smasher stories is not assumed, but will help (and it's also kind of spoilery).

Oh, and I guess you get more Atom Smasher. Lucky you.

Hey, someone forgot this show was made for eight-year-old girls, but thankfully we can weave a tale of post apocalyptic survival without alienating our core demographic. Come and journey with me into Fallout Equestria, TV-Y.

After a few failed attempts to deal with the Light Bringer, the goddess decides that instead of killing Pip maybe throwing her into the far future to deal with later would be easier. She over shoots the date though by just a tincy wincy bit.

My second place entry for the Fallout: Equestria 500 members writing competition, choosing the theme "Before the bombs".

This isn't a tale of great heroism, of any great battle fought hard and won well. Deadbolt Tumbler never really had any driving force in his life, he didn't have a special somepony, he didn't even have any friends. He was content to do his job to the best of his abilities everyday and live out his life in peace as he always had, but the great war was now in full swing, and as it often does, fate decides to intervene. On the afternoon of his 18th birthday, he was drafted to fight for his country, throwing him into a world of new experiences that threaten to shatter his fragile perception of friends, love, and loss. Although he had written them off as nothing more than fables as a colt, he soon comes to see that the monsters from the tales of old, still roam the battlefields before him.

The wonderful youtuber Plagen Shiki has done a marvelous reading of this story! You can find it here if you'd like to listen as you read!

A Farewell letter to Derpy Hooves written by Doctor Whooves, explaining why he was not there during the fall of Cloudsdale or after that in the Fallout Equestria Universe.

DanielScratchAnimations has made an audio reading of the first chapter. It can be found at https://youtu.be/tVgQLM6HrQI.

For any reader who is thinking about audio adaptations, two individual groups are working on versions. I'll attach links when they are done. I am not interested in any other adaptations being done.

Years after the Stable Dweller's journey to restore Equestria the world is still slowly recovering. Many parts of the world remain radioactive Wasteland despite the efforts of the NCR. In the far flung northeast region around the former city of Detrot the land remains a harsh, violent place. Living in a secluded mountain valley at the edge of this region, Longwalk is a colt ignorant of the larger Wasteland. His tribe has lived in isolation for generations, and he knows nothing of the world beyond the ten miles surrounding his remote mountain village.

All of that is about to change. Dragging a friend along to explore beyond the boundaries his tribe's laws allow, Longwalk makes a startling discovery; one that prompts a journey of his own out into the Wasteland with a mysterious unicorn filly at his side. Before he knows it Longwalk is caught in a dangerous web of Wasteland politics, powerful pre-war organizations, ancient death-filled ruins, and a growing cadre of unusual companions... each with secrets of their own.

Based on the wonderful Fallout Equestria by Kkat, and the Wild Arms video game series by Media Vision.

Pre-read by Doomande, an all around awesome dude.
Cover art by SpyroConspirator, a very talented artist.

Completed side-story featuring Crossfire found here.

The Wasteland: a place where all that is good and pure dies. Men may hold to ideals they find good, yet they can rarely ever meet them. Democracy, freedom, safety, all are just words to be thrown around by corrupt bureaucrats wanting to secure more power. A place where the hero is the villain, and the madmen are the heroes.

Equestria: the land of plenty, where ponies can go their entire lives without a single issue or problem. Where the good are told they thrive, and where ponies are told no evil survives. Freedom, safety, harmony, the ideals everything is supposed to meet. The heroes have time to throw parties, and the villains are never heard from.

Yet all it takes is one man to save both the realms. One man to cleanse the Wasteland, and one man to reveal the truth to the Equestrians.

The Courier.

See that title? That's me. Observer. Title equals main character, capiche? Just remember that I'm that one guy that jumps from Universe to Universe being a hero and stuff, like other dummies, except he enjoys it! 'He' being 'I', remember that, kiddies. The only downside is the pain. Which is quite plentiful. I think I'm rambling. I'm supposed to describe this adventure in particular! Let's see, I mess with six little ponies, two specific princesses, and two Wastelanders while saving the day. Sounds about right, and what more would anybody want!? More random characters, I guess, which there is! And maybe a plot that doesn't revolve around me. Blah. Well, at least things always turn out fine for everyone...

That hanging ellipses means nothing, ignore it. A mere typo.

To sum up, just know that things get pretty crazy. Not random crazy, that's just dumb. It's the the type of crazy where there's a story and a plot and emotional, serious bits and everything that makes a story. What's crazy about that? Me! But I'm not the crazy one, just my predicaments. Thought I should make that clear. Claritin clear.

Oh, and though this is crossing over with multiple Universes, knowledge of those Universes is not required. The author has given pictures! Isn’t that grand!? Every four year old's dream!

And finally look at this review!

Neat.

You can't get any better than that!

Alright, now for some credit to be handed out. Let’s start with that fancy picture on top. That’s by the author. But just look at it! Why is Fluttershy the only one with a shadow!? Why am I just a silhouette!? It doesn't make sense! Where's my agent!? Oh, right, I don't have one. Well, give him props for it.

Edited by this guy named Legion222, because Legion221 was taken. Well, not really. This guy just probably liked the number two... which was brought to you by Sesame Street some odd years ago.
Proofread by JoshuaGrahamPony and Rokkurin, two doofuses with too much time on their hands. Like, an absurd amount of time. It's crazy, like my predicaments, not me, memorize that!

And now for each and every vector in that image above… hold on to your butts:
Twilight Sparkle by Jeatz-Axl
Rarity by Givralix
Applejack by Bronyvectors
Fluttershy by Rubez2525
Rainbow Dash by DashiesPet
Pinkie Pie by MoongazePonies
Princess Luna by Chezne
Princess Celestia by tamalesyatole
And I, Observer, was found randomly on the internet, and photo shopped in mere minutes. Quality stuff right here, folks. Stick around.

And for those of you that are still reading, My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro, in case some nut thought I was the corporate CEO of the company. If I was, I'd make many a person happy with my epic stories of heroism. Oh yeah, and more ponies. Can't forget about them.
