At the peak of the War Against Conquest, Shining Armour is taken from the Crystal Warfront along with his baby daughter.
Captured by a cult preparing to resurrect the loathed usurper, Grand Ruler Celesto, he comes across various ponies he knows, either personally or by reputation.
With little good to say about any of them.
So begins a recollection of the deeper tales of friendship, of those it changed and those it didn't.
And as the cult steadily works towards its goal, Shining Armour and Flurry Heart still hold out hope.

Snowdrop was the only mare in Equestria who could make the beautiful, delicate snowflake designs that the Princesses came to love. After her death, there was nothing left to do but wait until another heir came along with the talent, the destiny, to take her place.

Then came along a sweet little filly. All there was left to do was wait and see what her talent would be, and when it would emerge.

Takes place during the events of “The Beginning of The End” episode.

Ever since the day that Sombra had finally taken over all of Equestria; he was very proud of himself, and happy that things are finally going his way. However, when the Mane Six showed up to stop him, he didn’t expect the results to wind up so, “childish”. Regardless, he has a responsibility now; and it’s definitely gonna be one that he won’t enjoy; not even if it were to happen again somehow.

This story is a sequel to The Broken and the Damned

10 years have passed since the defeat of Queen Chrysalis and the official end of Rainbow Dashs' exile. Since that day, with the exception of her sister's wedding, she hasn't set a hoof in Equestria. Finally, after much convincing, Rainbow allows her sons to sign on an exchange student-like program, where they will spend a school year in Ponyville.

How will her sons, raised in the Empire and can't even speak equish that well, react to the culture and way of life of the small Equestrian town? Better yet, how will her former friends and their families react to them?

Shining Armor is... mostly aware of what his little sister's been up to since the Friendship Games. Cadence keeps him in the loop, but she refuses to talk about some topics, insisting that it isn't her place to discuss them. When his phone rang a few moments ago, he thought Twilight had finally decided the time was right.

He's not entirely wrong, but he'll soon wish he had been.

An entry in the Shining Armor is a Terrible Dad Competition.

After a year of (admittedly sporadic) Thursday installments, the five protagonists of the Snippet Series finally stop living their lives in parallel and meet up at a Wonderbolt expo to share in some closure.

This story was a long time coming, and it concludes the storylines most enjoyed by the readers as well as ones most enjoyed by myself.

Befitting an end-of-the year event, I now present four cohesive Snippets for the price of one. I hope they please all of you who've enjoyed the first phase of this ongoing anthology. And for those of you just joining, with this installment you can now read the entire anthology from start to finish.

As stated above, this is the season one wrap-up entry of the Snippet Series, an anthology of old oneshots that I (and my good buddy Str8aura) wrote based around interesting pics I found. Season two will continue with new entries posted every other Thursday in 2021.

Equestria and the Crystal Empire have fallen to the Changeling Hegemony, led by the brutal Queen Chrysalis at the head of a mechanized horde of guns and tanks. Princess Cadance stayed in the Crystal Empire; Princess Twilight stayed in Equestria. Chrysalis rules the continent, only defied by Nova Griffonia, the poor Griffon colony in the north.

Across the ocean, the Griffonian Reich pledges to reclaim its lost territory, sundered by revolution a generation ago. While the Alicorn Sisters retreat to New Mareland, Princess Flurry Heart and Shining Armor turn to Aquileia, the Republic born out of the ashes of the Griffonian Reich. The Kaiser of the Reich is only a child, subject to a regent bent on war and conquest.

Flurry knows the Reich and Chrysalis have worked together.

She knows that war is coming to Aquileia.

She knows that Celestia and Luna abandoned her mother and Twilight Sparkle.

She knows that the world is on fire, and she is the last true Princess of Ponies.

She knows she will go home.

Cozy Glow is rightfully confused. Cozy does not understand how time has not passed after being in stone for 15 years. Cozy does not understand why she is a filly again. Cozy does not understand why her new little sister dragged her to the Crystal Empire. Cozy does not understand why her escape did not lead to world domination. Cozy does not understand why she cannot best this puny little foal. And above all, Cozy cannot figure out for the life of her; why she is whizzing around across time and space with freakishly powerful babies.
