A different Alternative Universe story; with a twist
Takes place during the events of “The Beginning of The End” episode.
Ever since the day that Sombra had finally taken over all of Equestria; he was very proud of himself, and happy that things are finally going his way. However, when the Mane Six showed up to stop him, he didn’t expect the results to wind up so, “childish”. Regardless, he has a responsibility now; and it’s definitely gonna be one that he won’t enjoy; not even if it were to happen again somehow.
Twilight and her friends; now elemental-less, are currently thinking of a new way to get back at King Sombra, and save all of Equestria. Eventually, all six of them have decided to storm the castle, and defeat King Sombra once and for all.
“Hehe, wow. How sweet of you gals to come. Back for another round?” Sombra said this as a means to anger them; and also to ensure that the girls have remembered what he’s done. Oh and they know; that he will do something like that all over again. And with that, the fight is on.
Few minutes have passed, and it seemed that neither side have stricken the first blow; or at least connected it to say the least. Regardless; neither sides tactics are working. And both sides are apparently out of options. Until...
“Ready girls?” Twilight said. “Ready!” the rest of the Main Six said in unison. With that, Twilight has declared that the Magic of Friendship will defeat King Sombra, and has begun their attack. However; instead of King Sombra getting disintegrated; (like in the episode), he used his shadow magic to conjure a forcefield around him, and repel the attack back towards them. It struck, but no one saw what happened next.
After the smoke cleared, Sombra knew what he had just done. Right in front of him we’re his archenemies; but as babies this time. “Oh no”, he began. “Here we go now.” As if on cue, all of the main six, (who are infants again), started crying. This is not gonna end well for neither of them; not by a long shot.
Sombra; who’s at a loss for words as to what happened; is currently pondering as to how and what just happened. He tried to ask his Shadow Guards, but they weren’t much help. He tried to ask his brainwashed subjects; still no help. Lastly; he tried to ask his archenemies as to what happened. Again; they too were clueless as to what happened like him. So with that, King Sombra has decided to do what he regrets doing; taking care of infants.
“Okay okay; settle down now; you’re fine; relax.” Sombra started to gesture. However; this didn’t work, and the main six who’re infantized started to cry even louder now. Their cries broke the Royal Couple free, but unfortunately have made Flurry Heart start to cry as well; as she doesn’t like hearing any other foal, (other than herself), cry. Because of that; this made Sombra reach his breaking point, and used his magic to freeze everyone in place. “Alright that’s enough! Now, one more peep from any of you foals, and you’ll be instantly sent to Tartarus for all time; is that understood?!” All of the infants, (including Flurry Heart), have stopped crying and started to look at King Sombra. “Thank you”, he said before calming down and taking some deep breaths to calm himself down further. “Now then; since you guys are turned into infants again, what do you think I should do with y’all; (aside from what I would usually do to y’all). Any suggestions?”
Flurry Heart began to fly up and raise her hoof as if she had a suggestion. But then she had her hoof taken down by Cadence who just shook her head in disapproval of her daughter’s actions. With that; Flurry Heart whined and sunk to the ground whilst hiding behind her mom in shame of her actions. Sombra sighs, and asks; “so; aside from the royal infant; anyone got any real suggestions here?” Everypony just paused for a minute and just rubbed their chins in thought. When suddenly, one of the mane six said something that was unexpected. And that unexpected thing was Pinkie Pie perfectly saying in a high pitched voice, “you can babysit us, right?” Everypony; even Pinkie, gasped and covered their mouths in both shock and surprise.
King Sombra blinked for a few seconds, before replying; “you can talk perfectly?” Twilight Sparkle just got an idea, and also said in a high pitched voice; “yes; we can.” She began to smirk, and continues by saying; “well; since you did this to us, you have to babysit us; okay?” Sombra groaned at that statement, but smirks also and says; “not really... but I can make you gals no longer talk anymore, and have baby babble only. Or... I can treat y’all like the infants you are; even though you have the body of an infant... and not both the body and minds of one... what do you say to that Sparkle?” Twilight got red in the face and is about to say something mean, but decided otherwise since she’s just an infant again, and calms herself down. “So...” began Applejack; “what’re we gonna do now?” Sombra smirked with a slight evil grin, and replies; “I can think of something”; whilst chuckling evilly.
King Sombra is led into Flurry Heart’s room by the royal family. Reason is because Sombra had something to plan out for the infantized mane six’s activity, and so that way he can be supervised for just in case.
“So”, he began; “what’s say y’all to a friendly game of dodgeball huh? What do you think?” Twilight was about to answer, when suddenly she was hit with a plushie. Usually; it wouldn’t hurt. But since Twilight is an infant again, it did to her, and she began crying. “Why’d you do that?” Pinkie asked Sombra in a high pitched voice. “Simple”, he began; “I’m bored, you guys are bored, and so I’d figure; why not this? Right?” Twilight Sparkle stopped crying, and whines while rubbing her head; “maybe... but dat stiww huwrt.” Sombra sighs, and says; “it’s not supposed to hurt; see?” He then took the plushie that he threw at Twilight, and hits himself on the head with it. “See, it’s soft; here.”
Twilight was very hesitant at first, but gave in and took the plushie from Sombra. Her eyes went wide as a foal’s, and she then hugged it very tightly with a smile. “It so soft. Thank you.” Twilight said whilst hugging the plushie again. “No prob”, said Sombra. “Now then, what are we gonna do now?” All of the mane six thought for a moment, before Flurry Heart raised her hoof in anticipation. “Yes?” Sombra pointed out. Flurry Heart then babbled something, and then giggles. Sombra; having just translated all that, blushed, shook his head, and says; “no! There’s no way in hippogriffland that I’m gonna let you babies put me in a dress. No way at all! Got it?” Flurry Heart and the main six whined and looked at King Sombra with puppy eyes. He sighs, then says; “okay, fine. But what I say goes, got it?” All of the babies nodded in agreement, and raised their hooves. “Okay then”, said Sombra; “let’s begin.”
With that, Sombra was being dressed in a tuxedo that’s just nothing more than a poorly drawn sketch of one on a piece of paper, a hat that’s also on a piece of paper, and a plastic cane to go with the outfit.
“So?” began Twilight Sparkle; “how is it?” Sombra looked at himself in Flurry Heart’s bedroom mirror, and says; “I look ridiculous.” Pinkie Pie then said; “yeah, but at least you look gweat, wight?” Sombra then says; “I guess. But isn’t it a little tacky to wear something that’s entirely made out of paper? I mean; couldn’t y’all have covered me in blankets, and made me into a creature of sorts? I mean, why not right? I think it’d be nice.” Applejack then got close to King Sombra, and says; “maybe; but we’we playing dress up, not costume party; right?” Twilight responds with; “maybe, I don’t know. But what I do know is that we’re stuck like this, and I don’t know how long it’s gonna last.” Sombra replies with; “me either”, as he then took off his entire outfit, and tossed the plastic cane aside. “I mean; I don’t know how long y’all are gonna be like this. But eh, as long as y’all don’t cause any trouble, (like the royal baby would have), then I’m sure it’s fine; okay?” Flurry Heart whined at that statement, but decided to ignore it, and sat back down on the ground.
“Okay then”, Sombra began. “Anything else you fillies wanna do? Or do y’all just wanna sit here like a pile of plushies?” Flurry Heart again raises her hoof, but then pauses as she hears her stomach growling. Then; as if on cue, all of the babies’ tummies start growling too. “I guess I can do that, but I need some help.” Flurry Heart babbles Sombra a question as a response to his statement. He then replies with; “well, your parents and staff of course; if the staff aren’t brainwashed anymore that is. Let’s go.” With that; Sombra then leaves the bedroom, and follows the royal couple to the kitchen. As soon as they were about to arrive, Applejack whispers into Twilight’s ear; “you sure that he can be trusted?” Twilight nodded in affirmation, and says; “of course. I mean...”. The doors of the kitchen swung open, and then Twilight finishes; “... what’s the worst that can happen?”
Sombra; who’s now surrounded by the mane six, (and Flurry Heart), in their highchairs; starts thinking as to what to feed them, and how to feed them without causing too much of a mess to do so. He thought long and hard for a while. But after a few minutes; he gave up.
“I give up”, he began. “I don’t know what to feed y’all. You gals have any ideas?” All six infants thought long and hard for a bit, before being cut off by Flurry Heart babbling something excitingly. Twilight replied with, “maybe. But Flurry; we can’t eat cake. It’s not good for you; okay? And even if we could eat cake; we’d be too full to eat some after our meals; sorry.” Flurry Heart; having understood what is being said; starts slamming her hooves on the highchair tray, and then starts whining; “nooo. Me want cake noowww!” After that, Flurry starts crying and throwing a tantrum. Sombra; who’s having none of it, grabs a pacifier from the kitchen table, and then shoved it into Flurry’s mouth whilst saying, “shut it, got it?” Flurry Heart nodded, and starts sucking on her pacifier; afraid that she’ll get punished for throwing a tantrum like that. “Alright”, Sombra said whilst calming down. “Anyone else have any ideas?”
The infants thought hard, but frowned as they too gave up. Flurry’s belly starts to growl loudly, and then she starts saying; “me hungwy.” Sombra then asks, “well what do you wanna eat?” Flurry Heart thought for a minute; before replying, “me want miwkies pwease.” Sombra blinked, chuckled, and said, “you want some milk?” Flurry Heart nodded her head, and Sombra says, “okay then; coming right up.” Unfortunately; as soon as he began to walk off to get her a bottle, the rest of the mane six agreed with Flurry Heart, and ordered some too. With that; Sombra groans, and went to get some bottles of milk for all the infants. Usually he can handle making one bottle, but more than one; that’s where it gets too far.
After a few minutes, all of the infants got their bottles of milk, and starts drinking from it. However; Flurry Heart seems to can’t drink from her milk due to her pacifier being in the way. With that, she gets all sad because she can’t eat, and starts crying again. Sombra sighs, and says, “you know; you can just take off your pacifier and drink from your bottle; right?” Flurry Heart nodded, but then starts to reach up to Sombra. Sombra backs up a bit and says, “I don’t know if that’s a good idea kid; I wouldn’t wanna hurt you you know.” Flurry Heart starts to cry again because she’s not getting what she wants. Sombra sighs again, and then says, “okay, fine; I’ll feed you. But just this once; got it? I’m usually not the ‘caring’ type of villain you know.” Flurry Heart stops crying, nods, and reaches for Sombra whilst still having some tears in her eyes. He sighs again, picks up Flurry Heart, and then starts to calm her down first.
“You’ll be fine”, Sombra says softly. “You’re a princess right? So why’re you crying?” In response to that, she begins to cry again. Sombra then pats Flurry on the back, and then brings her her bottle. “You’re alright”, he says in a slight annoyed tone. “Don’t worry about it; you’re fine.” Flurry Heart nodded, and then takes the bottle from Sombra. “Feed me pwease?” Flurry Heart said with big baby eyes. Sombra sighs, then says, “okay, I will. Just don’t cry no more, Kay?” Flurry Heart cries a little more, then says, “sowwy. Me can’t hewp it. Me baby and aww.” Sombra sighs, then says; “understandable then. Now drink up; your bottle’s gonna get cold.” With that; Sombra brings the bottle close to Flurry Heart so she can feed from it. She grabs it, looks at King Sombra with a slight smile, and then starts drinking from her bottle while Sombra’s still holding it. Sombra sighs, then says, “you’re lucky that you’re cute”, before going back to focusing on feeding Flurry Heart.
After a few minutes, the mane six seemed to be done with their meals, but now they’re bored. Flurry Heart isn’t done yet because she’s shifting between snuggling up to Sombra, and drinking from her bottle. So; after a few minutes of nothing, there’s something.
“Food fight!” Pinkie screamed; as she then starts to blast Rarity with her bottle. With that, everyone had a food fight; even Flurry Heart; surprisingly. Unfortunately, this didn’t bode well with King Sombra, and he looks like that he was gonna blow.
“Uh oh”, said Pinkie Pie. “I don’t like where this is going.” “Me neither”, Twilight said. “And I think this is bad...”.
All of the infants; including Flurry Heart, are back into the bedroom of Flurry Heart; along with Sombra accompanying them because of one reason; punishment time.
“Alright”, he began. “Since you little gremlins have clearly caused some trouble; what punishment do you think you guys deserve? Because clearly, I’m a villain; and only villains are allowed to cause trouble; okay?” The infants all nodded their heads and waited for Sombra to continue.
“So... what do you guys want as punishment?” Flurry Heart starts to look sad, then says, “me sowwy baba. Me wan two have fun.” Sombra sighs, then says, “I guess so. But because of that; not only did you make a mess with the others, you also spoiled your meal. How does that feel?” Flurry Heart crosses her forehooves behind her back, and shuffles her backhooves in shame with a blush; “not gwood.” Sombra nodded, then says, “that’s what I figured.” With that, Flurry then asks, “c-can me have miwkies again? M-me stiww hungwy.” Sombra sighs again, then says, “okay. But next time, finish your bottle. Or at least let me know if you’re full. And if you’re gonna play, then do it after you’re done with your bottle; got it?” Flurry Heart whined and frowned, then says; “got it”, before walking to Sombra with tears streaming from her eyes. Sombra then picks up Flurry Heart, wipes her tears away, then says whilst giving Flurry Heart her bottle; “hey hey, relax. No need to cry now, okay? You’re not in too much trouble; alright?” Flurry Heart sniffled, then says; “o-owkay baba”, before proceeding to feed on the bottle that Sombra is holding for her.
After a few minutes, Flurry Heart is now fully done with her bottle, but is still sniffling quite a bit since she’s still recovering from crying. Also her nose is still stuffed too from snot developing in her nose when she was crying. “Okay”, Sombra began. “Since Flurry Heart seems to have learned her lesson, what do you guys think that your punishment should be? Flurry Heart wasted a good milk bottle that was supposed to be her lunch; so I think that it counts as punishment enough for her. How about you guys? What’s y’all’s punishment gonna be? Any takers?” All of the infants except Flurry Heart are thinking of what could be a good punishment for them. Unfortunately, they came to a loss and shrugged.
After a few minutes, Pinkie Pie raises her hoof reluctantly, and asks, “are you going to give us spankies?” Sombra looks at Pinkie, then says, “you sure about that? That’ll hurt a lot; trust me.” Twilight then reluctantly asks, “how come?” Sombra blushes a bit due to the fact that he doesn’t want them to find out, but then says, “well... let’s just say that by the time we were done with this one stallion for being a thief, he wasn’t able to sit down, or even go to the bathroom after that.” All of the infants were shocked, and so Sombra continues by saying; “So to put it bluntly; it was used as a punishment to gain information on his thieving pals so that way me and my shadow guards could put a stop to it. And soon after that, we spanked him some more afterwards, and then he was released. So basically.... yeah. You really don’t want that; trust me; okay?” All of the infants nodded, and waited for Sombra to continue.
After a few more minutes, he just sighs and says, “you know what?... how about I just punish y’all by making y’all go to sleep early.... is that okay?” All of the infants shook their heads no, and started whining. Sombra smiles and shook his head while saying; “well; since y’all don’t want that as your punishment, then basically that’s y’all’s punishment; okay?” All of the infants said no, then Pinkie Pie said, “couldn’t we do something else? Like maybe over feeding? Or wearing embarrassing clothes?” Sombra thought for a minute, but then shook his head no, and stated; “maybe; those would be good punishments, but the answer is still no. We can’t do those because: A. Over feeding y’all would be a little too far. And B. Flurry Heart doesn’t even have that many clothes that can fit y’all anymore. And not to mention that she’s a little older than y’all, and you guys are younger; understand? So I don’t think that would’ve worked out; alright?”
All of the infants nodded, then Pinkie says, “but couldn’t we?...”. However; she was interrupted by King Sombra putting a hoof to her mouth, and says; “again Pinkie; no. Now; if you or your pals complain one last time, then I’ll make it worse by making y’all sleep in the broom closet, or even the kitchen for the night; got it?” Pinkie was gonna speak again, but then whined, and nodded in agreement. “Owkay”, said Pinkie, before she and the others went to bed on Flurry Heart’s bed.
But; before the punishment was carried out, Flurry Heart was picked up by King Sombra, and he asks; “hang on now. You’ve already been punished; right?” Flurry Heart nodded her head, and then Sombra continues; “So why’re you going to bed with them? You’re already punished enough; remember? So why’re you doing this?” Flurry Heart whined for a little bit, and then says, “but me stiww bad. And... I no wanna be bad no more... evewr.” Sombra sighs, and then says, “you’re not bad anymore; okay? Don’t say that anymore; got it? You’re not a villain anymore. It’s gonna be fine; I promise.” Sombra then got up, and says, “now then; let’s go explore the castle. And maybe later we’ll come back and check on them; okay? I’m sure they’ll be fine; alright?” Flurry Heart was gonna say; “but wat if?...” but she was cutted off by King Sombra before she could finish her sentence. And then Sombra says, “but nothing, okay? They’ll be fine, I promise; alright? And if not, I’ll fix it; okay?” Flurry Heart thought for a minute, then says, “okay den. Awight”, before frowning and looking down at the ground. Sombra sighs again, and then says, “let’s get out of here”, before starting to leave the room with Flurry Heart.
But before he can really leave, Pinkie rose up, then asked; “wait; can’t we have some water first; please?” Sombra sighs, and then says, “I already gave each of y’all a baby bottle filled with water for y’all on each side of the bed to drink from in case y’all are thirsty. Now pipe down and go to bed. I’ll check on y’all in five more minutes.” Pinkie Pie got a bit anxious, and then starts asking; “wait, but can’t we?...” but Sombra already left without her finishing her sentence.
With Sombra out of the room; Pinkie began to whine, and starts to cover herself up with the blanket that she and her friends are sharing for the night. Before Pinkie could begin crying, Twilight nudged her, and then says, “hey, it’s okay now. Once we get through with this punishment, I’m sure that he’ll reward us for it; okay? So there’s no need to worry; I’m sure we’ll get through with this eventually; I promise; alright?” Pinkie nodded with a slight whine, and then says, “owkay”, before turning to fall asleep. Applejack turned to Twilight, and then she whispers, “you sure about that? I mean; knowing King Sombra; I’d bet that he would check on us after a little more longer; don’t you think?” Twilight whispers back, “yeah, maybe. But I don’t want Pinkie to feel sad. Last thing we need is a worser punishment; alright?” Applejack sighed, and then said, “I hope so. Because this is gonna be a long night...”.
Everything in the Crystal castle was quiet; albeit too quiet. Something bad is gonna happen here, and neither one of the characters knew what’s gonna happen. Until...
While the mane six were waiting for their punishment to end; King Sombra and Flurry Heart are in the living room; just basically sitting on the couch and staring at the fireplace. “Huh”, Sombra began; “I never knew that there’s even a living room here; let alone a fireplace. How’d your parents do it?” Flurry Heart shrugged, and then babbles, “me no know. But me know mama and dada did it.” Sombra thought about what she said, then he says, “guess so. Never knew that your parents are great with ideas for a castle. Neat.” Flurry Heart giggles, then says, “yeah... it nice; hee.” Sombra looks at Flurry, then pets her belly. Flurry Heart giggles, wiggles a little, and says, “hehe, dat funny.” Sombra stops, then says, “it does feel funny, yeah. Hey, maybe when your aunt and her friend’s punishments are over, what do you say we surprise them; eh? Could be fun.” Flurry Heart thought for a minute, before asking; “you suwre dey wiww wike dat?” Sombra sighs, shakes his head smiling, then replies; “yes, I’m sure. They’re like you at times; right?” Flurry Heart giggles a bit, then says; “yeah, maybe, hehe.”
Sombra and Flurry were just about to go check on the infants; when suddenly, they hear crying. “Aw no”, Sombra said annoyed; “not this again.” With that; Sombra and Flurry Heart go right off to see if the infants are alright.
Once they made it to the bedroom, they opened the door and turned on the lights. All of the mane six seem to be just fine. Well... except for a certain pink pony. Flurry Heart flies up to her aunt Twilight and hugs her. Meanwhile; Sombra sighs in slight annoyance, and asks; “alright now, what happened? Any of y’all couldn’t take the punishment?” Twilight thought for a minute, but then says, “well... yes and no.” Sombra then sat down, and says; “I’m listening.” Twilight then resumes, “well.. you see. We all are doing just fine with our punishments.” Sombra then says, “yeah.. go on.. what’s the matter?” Twilight then sheepishly says, “well um.. you see...”. Pinkie Pie then climbs on top of the bed, and hits the blanket with tears in her eyes. At that point; Twilight finishes; “she’s not happy.” Sombra sighs again, then says; “why?”
This made Pinkie get a little red in the face, and then says; “it’s because of you big meanie.” Sombra then sarcastically asks, “aw really? Do you wanna talk about it?” This made Pinkie even more angry, and she even began to lunge at King Sombra. King Sombra then caught Pinkie Pie; whom is now flailing, and then gets up to say; “okay now. Since this gal here is really cranky; I’m gonna go and calm her down; okay?” All of the infants; even Flurry Heart; nodded. “Alright then”, continued Sombra. “You there”, he said as he points to Flurry Heart; “You’re to keep sure that your aunt and her pals don’t leave. Also; please don’t fall off the bed; kay? Wouldn’t want my archenemy getting hurt eh?” Flurry Heart giggles a bit, and sheepishly nodded her head in agreement. “Alright then”, Sombra continued again; “and as for you Twilight; you and your friends will be out of punishment by the time I come back; okay? In the meantime; don’t fall off the bed, and don’t go anywhere; okay? I’ll be back before you know it.” Twilight nodded, then says; “okay“, and waits for Sombra to leave. With that in mind; Sombra starts to leave the room, and Flurry Heart starts to hug her aunt Twilight again. Reason? She loves her aunt Twilight; that’s why.
So... after for what seems like an eternity; (even though it’s been only five minutes); King Sombra is currently holding a wriggling cranky Pinkie Pie. He sat back down on the couch in the castle’s living room, and sits Pinkie down on his lap. With that in mind, he starts to ask; “Hey kid; you alright? What’s the matter?” Sombra then felt and heard something; as Pinkie Pie has broke wind in anger on his lap. Sombra then continues by saying; “hahah, good one. But seriously though, what’s the matter?” Pinkie Pie crosses her forehooves, and says; “you’re mean. You’re being mean to everypony.” Sombra sighs, then says; “yeah, so what? You and your friends did something bad, and I punished y’all; understand?” Pinkie Pie then attempts to hit Sombra on the chin, and missed.
Sombra sighs and says, “okay, look now; I understand that that was rude and I’m sorry. But you really can’t expect me to not punish you for whenever you did something bad right? I mean; that’s apparently what y’all were gonna do to me, and I was not happy with it. So yeah; if you think that I was being mean, then you’re wrong. I wasn’t, I was strict; got it?” Pinkie Pie then started to whimper; as Sombra did raise his voice for when he was in his rant. Sombra then sighs in annoyance, then says; “I get it kid; now will you stop crying? You’re gonna wake up the entire castle if you keep this up; okay?” Pinkie Pie nodded, but then proceeded to whimper some more; trying her best to hold back her tears.
Sombra then sighs again to calm himself down, and then says; “look kid; how about we just go back to the room; okay? I’ll put you to bed. And then maybe I’ll consider giving you and your pals a reward for following in y’all’s punishments; okay? What do you say?” Pinkie Pie thought for a moment; before replying back; “owkay”, and nodded. Sombra then says, “okay then; let’s go.” and proceeds to pick up Pinkie Pie.
However; as soon as they were about to enter the room; Pinkie Pie tapped on his shoulder, and then asks; “wait; can I go to bed with you; please?” Sombra stopped for a bit, then asks; “why?” Pinkie leaned against King Sombra while she was being carried by him, then says; “I know that you’re bad and all, but I’m starting to feel bad for trying to hurt you. Is that okay?” Sombra sighs again, smiles, and then says; “okay kid, but just this once; alright? I really don’t want your pals, or the Royal baby to get jealous, okay?” Pinkie Pie giggled, then says; “okay”, and hugs Sombra again.
Once they have entered the room; they’ve found to have seen every infant in the room; (even Flurry Heart), fast asleep. With that; Sombra went to lay down on the guest bed next to Flurry Heart’s bed, lays Pinkie Pie down with him, and closes his eyes to fall asleep. But before he could, he asks, “need anything?” Pinkie Pie thought for a bit, then says; “nah, I’m good for now; thanks.” Sombra then says, “alright then, sweet dreams kid”, and starts to fall asleep again. Pinkie Pie followed suit, and fell asleep as well.
With everypony now fast asleep; things are starting to go great for everyone. Well... until they have to wake up that is. And it will not be pretty.... .
As the sun slowly rose up in the Crystal kingdom, everypony went out of their houses to start their daily routines. Well; almost everypony....
King Sombra and the others were fast asleep. The infants are all sleeping on Flurry Heart’s bed; with Flurry Heart hugging Twilight as she slept. And Pinkie Pie sleeping with King Sombra whilst sucking on one of her forehooves. Things were going great; until...
*is banging some pots and pans together*; “rise and shine cadets! Time to eat some chow; ura!” Shining Armor; surprisingly; was very enthusiastic about waking up everypony like that. So he’s apparently gotten this brilliant idea of waking them up by getting some pots and pans together, and starts beating the two together to wake them up. It worked alright; albeit to every sleepy ponies’ dismay.
Twilight yawns and rubs one of her eyes whilst saying, “mm, big brother... it’s so early in the morning. Why’re you waking us up like this?” Shining Armor chuckles sheepishly, and says; “sorry twily. But it’s just that I’ve been so energetic lately; that I’ve apparently thought that this was a good idea to start my day.” Sombra then got up, chuckles a bit, then says whilst smirking; “like what? Did someone spiked your coffee this morning? You know; to give it a little more kick?” Flurry Heart then got up, then babbles; “nuh uh. Dada have no much baba.” Sombra then says, “oooooh. But still... he could’ve had too much coffee this morning; you’ll never know.” Flurry Heart shrugs; then babbles, “twue”, and covers herself again with her blanket to fall back asleep; as she’s still tired, and it’s still too early to wake up. Shining sighs, and explains; “if y’all don’t wake up, then y’all’s breakfast is gonna be cold; especially yours too young lady. It’s your favorite.” With that; Flurry Heart whined, and babbles; “save em fowr me pwease dada? I no wanna wake up yet.” Sombra sighs, then says; “yeah kid; cmon; I’m tired. And I still am too. You don’t know how much I’ve done since you and your spouse have celebrated y'all's freedom and such.” Shining Armor thought for a bit, then sighs and says; “okay then; sorry. But I’m serious here. If y’all don’t wake up soon, then it’ll get cold, and y’all will have to find a way to heat up y’all’s breakfast; okay? Sombra then said; “okay“, and falls back asleep. With that; Shining Armor left, and everyone else went back to sleep for a while.
When they finally woke up, they got ready for the day, and went to go eat their breakfast. But when they got there, they felt to check and see if Shining was right about their breakfast getting cold, and he was right. Their breakfast consists of bowls of oatmeal for Twilight and her friends, a plate of eggs and hay hash browns for King Sombra; along with some orange juice for the road; (not literally, but it’ll help as a beverage of sorts), and a plate of pancakes for Baby Flurry Heart. All of them that woke up sighed, then Sombra said; “let’s get this heated up first; then we eat.” All of them agreed, and went to pick up their breakfast to collectively heat them up somehow. Sombra was the first to heat up his food by using his magic. The others were getting more hungry, and are currently waiting for King Sombra to heat up their meals. Once he was done heating up his meal, he then went to heat up their meals as well, and Flurry Heart’s lastly. After that; all eight of them went to their respective seats on the table, and began eating their breakfast. Shining Armor and Cadence aren’t with them however; mainly because they already ate their breakfast, and are currently just relaxing together on the living room couch.
During their breakfast; Flurry Heart went to look at King Sombra, and then began to ask him; “baba? You awight?” Sombra then turned to look at Flurry, and then responds with; “yeah? Why do you ask?” Flurry Heart thought of a reply to his response, but couldn’t think of one and babbles; “newermind”, and went back to eating her breakfast. Sombra sighs, and says; “okay then. But if there’s anything wrong, then let me know; kay? I know that I may be a villain and all, but I still care about my enemies regardless; especially when y’all are in this condition. Well... except for Flurry Heart. She’s already an infant; right?” Flurry Heart blushes because of that statement, and says; “wight”, before getting back to her breakfast again. Sombra then replies with; “hehe; sorry about that”, and went back to eating his breakfast too.
After the gang were done with their meals; they’ve decided to head to the castle’s living room, and decide what to do next. Unfortunately; they’re gonna be in for a surprise for when this planning phase is done and dealt with... .
King Sombra and the others are thinking on what to do next for their day. Unfortunately; neither of them could think of anything. And it almost seems like that they were gonna die from boredom; (even though it’s never actually happened before). But suddenly; Pinkie has an idea.
“Ooh ooh”, she starts to speak with one of her forehooves raised. Sombra turned and asked; “yes pinkie. You have an idea?” Pinkie nodded, and then says; “I wanna pway bwocks wit my fwiends.” Afterwards she did a cute smile and starts sucking on one of her forehooves. Sombra then said; “okay”, but pauses; “uh.. how come you’re acting and speaking like a baby though?” Pinkie Pie giggled, and then said; “because I want to. That’s all.” Sombra then said; “okay then”, and goes to look for some blocks with Flurry Heart.
After a few minutes, King Sombra and Flurry Heart came back with the blocks. “Well; for somepony who’s a baby princess, she sure does have a lot of these huh?” Flurry Heart giggles and babbles incoherently. “Hehe, you said it.” Sombra says as he then sets the blocks down on the ground with Flurry Heart. “So...” began King Sombra; “what’re we gonna do with these?” Pinkie Pie walked up to him, and says; “block tower, yay!” Sombra dawwed at that comment, and says; “okay then; let’s do this.”
After the infants and Sombra have successfully built their block towers, King Sombra started to say; “well...I think that sums up our tower building skills quite nicely eh? We’ve all did a good job now huh?” All of the infants nodded, and started to admire their work. “So”, began Sombra; “what’re we gonna do now?” All of the infants thought for a minute, before Pinkie Pie started to whine, and says while clutching her belly; “my tummy hurts.” Sombra’s eyes started to widen a little, then says; “uh oh... that can’t be good.” After a few seconds; Flurry and Sombra looked at each other, and then Sombra starts saying; “well; since they’re not in diapers; do you mind if we let your aunt and her pals use them?” Flurry Heart nodded and gestured for him to follow. “Alright”, King Sombra said; “lead the way.” After they got back, they’ve began to diaper up the infants one by one until they’re all in diapers. Once all of the mane six are diapered, Sombra and Flurry Heart backed off to see what would happen next. With that; they got their answers. “Eww”, began Flurry Heart; “dewre making poopies hahaha.” Sombra snickered a bit, then says; “you’re right; they are.” as the infants are currently grunting whilst their diapers are growing. “Well; thank goodness we diapered them huh?” said King Sombra while looking at Flurry Heart. “If we haven’t diapered them, then maybe there would’ve been a big old mess there huh?” Flurry Heart giggled, and nodded; “yeah; big stinkies eweywhewre, hahaha.”
After all of the infants have sighed with relief, and with all of their diapers being filled; King Sombra and Flurry Heart thought about what to do with them next. With that; their answer came quickly than expected, and all of the infants started crying. “Uh oh”, began King Sombra; “that can’t be good.” Flurry Heart covered her ears, but began crying as well as she can’t bear to hear anypony other than herself crying. King Sombra turned to Flurry Heart, and asked; “why’re you crying?” Flurry Heart paused, then says; “me no wike it when baby cwy wike me.” And then she continues crying. After what seemed like five minutes; King Sombra picked up Flurry Heart, carried her on his shoulder, and then asks; “you gonna be okay?” With that; Flurry Heart stopped crying, wipes away her tears and wipes her nose, and then nods whilst saying; “yeah; I bettewr now. Danks baba.” Sombra smiles, then says; “no problem pal.” He then looks towards the mane six; who’re still crying, and asks; “wanna help me calm them down?” Flurry Heart nodded, and snuggled up to him with a smile. “Aww”, Sombra commented; “you’re sweet.” Flurry Heart smiled back, and cuddles closer to him. “Alright then”, he began; “let’s see what we can do...”
After the infants have been calmed down; King Sombra then starts to pick them up with his shadow arms, and then starts asking; “everypony alright?” They all nodded, but then Twilight said; “me all stinky now.” Sombra then said; “that’s true; need a change?” All of the infants nodded, and then Rainbow asks; “please can you change us? It’s starting to stink in here. And we don’t like that.” Sombra sighed, nodded, and says; “let’s get y’all changed.” But before he can begin; he turned towards Flurry Heart, and asks; “need a change too?” Flurry Heart shook her head, and babbled; “me no made stinky baba. Me gwood.” Sombra says; “indeed you are”, and looked towards the others. “Alright; who’s ready to get changed?” All of the mane six raised their forehooves, and proceeded to hold on to Sombra while they’re being led to the changing table.
After what felt like five minutes; (even though it’s been only ten); the mane six are all cleaned and diapered up. Meanwhile; King Sombra is basically breathing hard at this point, and blurts out; “I’m never having kids for as long as I live.” And soon collapsed shortly there after.
After five minutes, (the actual five minutes instead of ten minutes), has passed; all of the infants, (including Flurry Heart), surround King Sombra, and fell asleep around him; (despite them not feeling tired at all). “Hey?” King Sombra says while still having his eyes closed; “what’re y’all doing?” Flurry Heart giggles, then says; “we make you baba, haha.” Twilight nodded, then says; “yeah; we just wanted to keep you comfy; is that okay?” Sombra sighs, chuckles a little, then says; “fine; but just this once because I needed to recover.” All of the infants, (except Flurry Heart), laughed sheepishly; then Twilight says; “we’re sorry”, and yawns before falling asleep. After that; the rest of the infants, (even Flurry this time), fell asleep, and began to snore softly and cutely.
Soon; all of the infants around King Sombra are asleep, and so is King Sombra himself. The royal parents then came upon the scene, and just simply dawwed at it. “Aww; that’s sweet.” Cadence says as she puts a hoof to her chest due to the sheer adorableness and sweetness of the situation. Shining Armor then replied with; “yeah... let’s let them sleep.” With that; the two parents covered all of the sleeping ponies with a blanket, and left them be for the night.
What’s gonna happen next? Only one way to find out...
Next morning; everypony is still asleep in their rooms, and basically not seeming like that they’re gonna wake up soon. Well; not everyone is in a room asleep that is...
Rainbow Dash starts to wake up a little, and says sleepily; “mm, what time is it?” She then yawns and starts to rub one of her eyes due to still being tired, but also wanting to wake up as well.
Meanwhile; the rest of her pals are still asleep; especially this one little villain. Still feeling a bit tired; Rainbow Dash decided to go back to sleep for a while since she’s still feeling too tired to wake up.
After what felt like hours; (despite it being only a few minutes), everypony then started to wake up, and stretch to get themselves to wake up some more. Unfortunately; they’ll soon realize that once they fully wake up; not everything is gonna be back to normal per se...
“W-what happened?” Twilight asked as she began to got up and rubbed the sleep from one of her eyes. “W-what’s going on? And...” she paused as she then remembered as to what happened; “why am I still in a diaper?” Soon, the rest of the mane six woke up, and saw that they were still in diapers, and shocked at that fact as well.
King Sombra and Flurry Heart were the last ones to wake up, and began to stretch and rub the sleep from their eyes. But.. after they’ve fully woken up, they too were shocked to see that the mane six were still wearing their diapers. “Um...” Sombra began; “you gals feeling alright?” The mane six blushed, then Twilight says; “we’re fine; thanks for... babysitting us. We’ve really appreciated it.” Sombra smiled, then said; “eh; no problem really. Couldn’t let my enemies get hurt for whenever they’re vulnerable; right?” All of the mane six nodded, and then Pinkie Pie bounced up to give King Sombra a hug. “Woah. Uh; thanks kid. It’s no trouble really.” King Sombra said in surprise. Pinkie Pie giggled, then said; “that was fun. Let’s do it again sometime!” Sombra blinked, and then asked; “really? Y-you serious?” Pinkie Pie was too busy bouncing up and down in excitement; so Twilight answered for her. “I think what Pinkie Pie is trying to say is is that yes; she would like this to happen again sometime; even if it were to be on purpose too.” Sombra chuckles a bit, then says; “I guess... but don’t you think it’s a little weird though?” Twilight shook her head, then said; “not really. Besides; I could use a situation like this for some of my research and all; just in case I were to babysit Flurry Heart again; okay?” Sombra shrugs, then says; “I guess so; it’s understandable.” Just then, Flurry Heart’s belly growled, then she babbles; “I’m hungwy.” Sombra dawwed at that statement, then says; “alright little one; let’s get you something to eat, okay?” Flurry Heart nodded and flew up to hold onto King Sombra. With that, he says; “alright; let’s go.” and proceeds to direct the mane six to the kitchen to get Flurry Heart something to eat.
With everything back to normal; King Sombra then left to find residency somewhere within the Crystal Empire, Flurry Heart went back to her room and started bouncing on her bed in excitement, and the mane six went to the guest bedrooms to tidy themselves up. And so; the Crystal Empire was safe, and all is well in the kingdom. The end.
